I'm two for two AND I'm ahead of the game on a brithday card for a dear, dear friend. She's going to be so excited that I remembered this year AND that I'm early *wink* *wink*!!!
I used the Pure Innocence stamp, Something Special Just for You (sorry, she's currently out of stock. Keep checking Kim works hard to re-stock as quickly as she can).
I used more of the My Mind's Eye dp, Alphabet Soup (are you sick of it yet??? Hope not, cuz I've got more of it that I'm playing with ☺). I wanted to keep this relatively flat so I could mail it off without any extra postage, so instead of the buttons and baby braddies I wanted to use, I chose to go with some cross hatches to accent the edge of the main panel.
At first I was going to use the dainty dots doliy die-namic for my partial circle panel, but I just didn't like how it all fit together....too busy. SO, I used it on the inside with the layered labels die-namics and the birthday sentiment from the set. No need for it to go to waste, right?!!!
We are all sooo excited about all the participation in last week's WSC sketch challenge. It was so great to see all your wonderful creations. Keep up the great work. Kim's got the full line up of samples from the DT and the Challenge team.
YAY You have a card done... now in MY world the hard part is next... MAILING IT ON TIME!!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! Don't know if this was intended or not, but on first glance of the dainty dots doily, I TOTALLY thought it was a tiara -- and how perfect for a little princess!
