gah! I am totally digging the new Peace, Love, & Joy stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs. It just released and it's soooo, so fun to work with. I used the challenge colors to create the word "peace". I couldn't resist adding in the gorgeous leaves from Festive Florals. I did some masking and layered them along the bottom and top of the panel. I also added a touch of purple  with the berries. I cut the finished panel with the Silly Stitched Rectangle die

October Lil' Inker Designs Release-Day 3

Hello and welcome to day three of the LID October Release. I've got a mix of projects to share today all using the new, just released holiday products from  Lil' Inker Designs. I had so much fun playing around with all the gorgeous new stamps and dies, we are gearing up for the holidays, I hope you are ready. I just know you will love what we have to share. If you missed the first two days, be sure to check it out.

I started today's card off with some ink sponging and Evergreen Bough distress ink. I filled in only the center of the watercolor paper and then gave it a splattering of plain water and some of Calico Shine for a bit of shimmer to the card base. I used the Silly Stitched Rectangle to cut out that layer

I really wanted this die cut to steal the show, yes, it's theme with my samples this release. So I cut the Christmas Words Tree three times and glued them together. This is always my go-to for adding dimension. A simple twine bow finished this off.

This next card is full on cuteness. The adorable image from Season's Greetings is customizabile with three different critters. How cool! I picked the holiday bear and colored him up. I colored him up with Copics and then added a touch of sparkle with some clear glitter on his hat. I stamped the image onto a Stitched Mats-Circle and then finished it off with one of the greetings. Yep, you can customize that banner too....lots of sentiments to choose from. Love that!

The background is the amazing new Cover die called Geometric Snow and it's so, so cool! Dontcha think??

October Lil' Inker Designs Release-Day 2

Hello and welcome to day two of the LID October Release. I've got a mix of projects to share today all using the new, just released holiday products from  Lil' Inker Designs. I had so much fun playing around with all the gorgeous new stamps and dies, we are gearing up for the holidays, I hope you are ready. I just know you will love what we have to share. If you missed yesterday's kick-off, be sure to check it out.

First card for the day, I used one stamp set and let it speak for itself. OMG! it's a gorgeous Vintage Christmas Wreath. I stamped it and colored it up with my Copic markers and I'm in love. I used the matching Vintage Christmas Dies to cut it out and then mounted it to a circle card base that I created with the Stitched Mats-Circle dies. I LOVE how the sentiment pieces are separate, so you can customize your greeting in any color combo.

I think I have a theme here today, let the products speak for themselves. Well, they are awesome, so I let them take center stage. This time I used the new Joy to the World stamp and I masked off each line before inking, so I could do a multi-colored image. Easy to do, especially with a MISTI.

I added it to a 4.25 card base and used the Silly Stitched Squares to cut out the layers.

The next card is a favorite of mine. I combined the Stitched Woodgrain cover-up die and the new Noel Word Die. Ummmmm.....those antlers. Swoooon!!!  I cut three layers of this die, twice in red card stock and a third time (the top layer) in a plaid paper.

I used the Stitched Mats-circles to create a window to really showcase the Noel Word Die. Here is a close up.

Color Throwdown 465-Happy Haunting

Hi, everyone!  Jodi our challenge hostess this week with a brand new set of colors  - Purple, Black, and white. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you're in good company! As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD465, and please use #ctd465 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. I pulled out some Reverse Confetti Halloween goodies for today's card. I stenciled on some Lotsa Dots with Grape Soda ink and then used the Fa La La Confetti Cuts, just the pinking stitched circle) in Grape Soda card stock to create a frame. I added a bat from Halloween Bits in Stormy card stock

I added some black Midnight "trees" with the branch die from Nuts About You Confetti Cuts.  I finished the card off with the sentiment from Treat Yo' Self. Simple, sweet and not too spooky.

October Lil' Inker Designs Release-Day 1

OMG! I am so super excited to share with you all the awesomeness of the October release from Lil' Inker Designs.  from Lil' Inker Designs. We are celebrating day 1 of fun!  I had so much fun playing around with all the gorgeous new stamps and dies, we are gearing up for the holidays, I hope you are ready. I just know you will love what we have to share.

I have to admit, when I started creating I was not in the holiday, festive mood. it was sunny and almost 80 here in the midwest. BUT.....once I dug in, oh my....there is so much amazingness! Plus, it's never too early to start working on your holiday cards. I started off with the gorgeous new poinsettia set, called Festive Florals. I had a hard time putting this set down. I stamped in white craft ink onto some kraft card stock and used the Silly Stitched rectangle die to cut it out.

I then colored up a few of the holly leaf images and the berries and greenery with my copics and used the Festive Floral dies to cut them out. I added them to a strip of red card stock and stamped the sentiment from Festive Florals in black ink. I love the pretty, yet classic feel of this card. I added a touch of sparkle with some clear glitter on the berries.

While I still had this set out, I got busy stamping up a background with some tone on tone inking and the Festive Florals stamp set. I love how quickly it decorated the the Stitched Gift & Note Card Holder die.  I tied it up with some burlap ribbon and added a fun tag with the Pinking Edge Sentiment Tag die.

Check out the adorbs reindeer. Yep, It's new and you can purchase him NOW! The set is called Rowdy Reindeer and you can customize his sweet little face

I stamped some tone on tone kraft ink along the top with the Festive Floral stamp set of the tag and then added a sentiment from Rowdy Reindeer in white embossing. It's the perfect sentiment for a gift card or cash (both which I love to give, btw!).
