Picket Fence Studios/ Freshly Made Sketches: favorite human

You might be surprised to know I am a cat lover. I love my pups, we have two giant golden retrievers that I love to death, but I also love kitties. I asked every year for a cat for my birthday, it was FINALLY  my 9th birthday that my wish came true. I got the pick of a litter from friends of ours and chose the prettiest calico. Her name was Fluffy and I loved her dearly. Tim and I had two cats and now we are just a dog house, but I secretly wish for a cat in my life again.
So for now, I will enjoy coloring up these sweet kitties from Picket Fence Studios. This duo is from the set, Pretty Kitties

In the Background I used the new Random Dots Stencil and with the Life Changing Blending Brushes blended on some Distress Oxide inks in Spun Sugar, Festive Berry, and Wild Honey and then I added my  new favorite product....glimmer paste!!

I used the current Freshly Made Sketches for this card.
Check out the link up here.

Have a great weekend!

Freshly Made Sketches 200th Celebration with Lil' Inker Designs

I am so excited to be a part of the 200th celebration of the Freshly Made Sketch challenge. I have two posts today for this challenge, so be sure to check them both out. Lil' Inker Designs is one of the challenge sponsors. You can find all the details AND the link up over on the Freshly Made Sketch blog

Here is my card using all kinds of lovelies from LID. I was dying to use the beautiful Quilted Flower die. I used all three pieces from the die to create my pretty yellow flower.

I love the gorgeous dotted scalloped border from Border Builders. I used it to cut the Ombre Stripes paper. I stamped the sentiment from Greetings & Salutations along the bottom in grey ink. I added some gold accents with sequins and twine. I love the little touch of sparkle these add.

Come play along, there are a ton of fantastic sponsors. You won't want to miss it!

and how about a close look at the LID products I used today.

See you soon!

Here is my card and it just makes me happy, Bright and sunny and full of cuteness thanks to the adorable Tweet Life stamp set.

I used the coordinating Tweet Life Confetti Cuts. I perched my chubby birdie on the custom made branch.

At the top, I used the Wonky Double Edge Scallop die to create a cloudy card top and then added some Sun 'n clouds for a few extra accents. I stamped the sentiment in the left corner and mounted the whole panel on to

TONS of amazing sponsors. Don't miss it!

TCP Final Day of Sneaky Peeks

One more day.....the Cat's Pajamas release is TOMORROW!!! We have one more set to show off, it's called Reindeer Kisses. It's A-dorable!

I used the current Freshly Made Sketches no. 167 for my layout. I colored my reindeer on x-press it blending cs and then pieced him up onto the kraft layer. I used the Holiday, Celebration Topper cut up to accent my left side of the panel. It was the perfect embellishment. There are LOTS of great sentiments in this stamp set to choose from. This one is my favorite.

Be sure to join the fun over in the TCP Forum at Splitcoast for the In It To Win It prizes and chatter! The party starts there!

The Pajama Party details are here....don't miss it!

Here is a look at the set I used today.

Curtain Call-Pajama Party Reminder

There is still lots of time to play along with us over at the Curtain Call Challenge Blog. TCP is the sponsor this go round. Come check it out.

Here is another card, playing up all those lovely red chevrons. Sometimes it's nice to just show case a sentiment. I love this one from the darling set, Reel Experts. I used my favorite circle die by TCP from the Framed 2 Cut ups to showcase this sentiment.

I added a few other Cutups for handmade embellies, Heart Trio and Flower Bluttons

Here is the Curtain Call Pajama Party inspiration photo.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch  #136.  The link up ended yesterday, but that's ok. It is still a good one.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you back soon!
