Reverse Confetti December SFYTT

It's the final sketch for the year......new one starts in just a few days. I'm helping wrap up the fun with this card today using the December SFYTT from Reverse Confetti !

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday! I know I did. It's been great just hanging with the family. I have enjoyed the break from my blog and crafting, but it's time to get back at it! I Have a TON of thank-you's to send so this card is kicking off a series of Thank-you cards you'll be seeing, hope you don't mind.

I'm still loving the Seasonal Sentiments. I clear embossed this greeting on blueberry cardstock from MFT. I stamped Whole Lotta Dots in Sweet Tooth Pigment ink and then layered on some Let It Snow flakes. Gosh, how I love those Confetti Cut dies.

Here's the sketch. There is still a teeny bit of time to play.

  • There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
  • The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 29th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
  • Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
  • You may enter as many times as you wish.
  • There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of each month.

 Link your card up and join the fun AND a chance to win a prize. All the details can be found on the Reverse Confetti Blog.

Thanks for stopping by! See you back here soon. I've got some fun things coming.

Curtain Call Candy Cane Reminder

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

You have until December 25th at 8:00 AM CST to be inspired and share your project!

Here is my second card for this challenge. I used the beautiful Let It Snow stamp set
again, but this time I made sure to ink up the trees. I heat embossed some white snowflakes
to add a wonderful, subtle texture. I know, it doesn't really show in this photo, but it's there and
I love it. I added an extra pop of red with the birdie. I adore this set from Avery elle.

Current challenge details and link-up are here
We sure hope you'll come play along. Hop on over to the Curtain Call Blog to see more beautiful inspiration from the Crew!

Sending you Warm Wishes as we enter the final days of holiday prep. I hope you are surrounded by lots of love.

Curtain Call Candy Cane {all is calm}

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

photo source: atthepicketfence.com

We have a new sponsor, Avery Elle, for the Curtain Call Inspiration: Candy Cane!  A randomly selected participant in the Candy Cane challenge will receive a $20 Avery Elle gift certificate, while the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Here is the full card. I used the adorable Let it Snow stamp set. I just love the trees in the set, but opted to leave them off this card (don't worry, I already made my reminder card and I made sure to ink up those trees!). I love this sentiment and added some snocone snowflakes to the lil' inker designs stitched mats-circle die. I also added the sweet birdie duo to the candy cane twine. Super cute, huh?!

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!

Sweet Sunday Sketch no.249 {seriously awesome}

 It's a seriously awesome Sunday! I took a break from holiday cards and whipped up this fun card for the current Sweet Sunday Sketch. I love that Karen included a tilted panel with this week's sketch. I hope you love it, too.
I love a top folding card, so I flipped the sketch a bit. I used the Stitched Stars from Lil' Inker Designs for the trio of elements in the sketch. I took it a step further and added the gorgeous word dies-Seriously and Awesome. The stamped sentiment is from the Hello, Awesome stamps set. I think those little sets are just perfect and so budget friendly.

A few other details to point out are the new Long & Skinny rectangles. This die set JUST released and it's seriously awesome. I also added a Stitched Mats-rectangles around the edge of my card base.

The colors are two more new ones from MFT-persimmon and peach bellini. Here is a look at the sketch.

I hope you will join in on all the fun this week.  Please hop on over to see what the Sweet Sunday Stampers have created this weekend:

Enjoy the day!

I pulled out one of my favorite coffee set, Be a Barista from Reverse Confetti (they are one of the amazing and generous sponors for this hop! I'll tell you a bit more about that in a bit).

I used the largest Circle 'n Scallops die to cut out my circle and then stamped some Whole Lotta Dots behind it. I used the new gorgeous colors from MFT. Blueberry, Wild Wisteria, and Island teal....yum! I stamped my sentiment onto a Tag Me banner pieces,tucked in some thread and added some enamel dots and clear rhinestones (another inspiration from Jodi Collins).  I colored the mug up with my copics and cut it out. It was the prefect accent for my coffee loving card!
