Now on to today's teasers. Three new fabulous sets being peeked today. You're gonna love them, as much as I do. This one from me is called Heartfelt. It's by the same illustrator as the Loveasaurs set and it is just as sweet!
She was the perfect excuse to add some fun hearts thanks to the new Hearts A Plenty die-namics. I used the giant one on the outside and all three sizes on the inside. The hearts are great nested in eachother, or just perfect by them selves. I'm still looking for a must-have Valentine designer paper, and this one is the one I'm in love with so far. It's called Lovey Dovey by Bella Blvd. The pretty pink and grey look great with the sno cone cs by MFT. The hearts look great with the sentiment on the inside. Short and sweet today. I'm glad you were able to stop on by. More peeks tomorrow and then the party and Shop & Hop blog hop. See you then!

Day 3-MFT Teasers!

Are you loving the teasers or what? How about the December Temp team? I am so excited to see what they have done each day-certainly WOW! ideas and so much creativity from those ladies. Today we've got another great batch of Teasers for you. It's the long awaited Pure Innocence day. It's another batch of cuties! Before we get started, there's some info you need to know.
Here are some details about the upcoming release on December 1st at 10 PM EST:

I'm showing off the new Splish Splash set. I've got a soft spot for any boy stamps and this little guy is no different. Not only is he the cutest in his rain gear, but his doggie is so sweet, shaking off that water. I added a grey MFT felt cloud, some striped twill ribbon and a few baby braddies. The layout is one from Jen Del Muro from a few weeks back. I finsihed off the inside with another sentiment from the set. Some fun Echo Park dp on this one and lots of die-namics finished this card card off perfectly. I love all the framed greetings die-namics and the new Textile Rectangle is no different. I layered it here with the orginal framed greeting die-namic. The clouds are the cloud trio, of course. Oh, and don't forget about the cs-it's some fossil (looks to be out of stock right now. keep checking back!) and hot fudge. I'm slowly making my transistion to the MFT cs and I'm loving it!

There you are, and off you go, there's lots more to see. Thanks for all your sweet words!

I've got 2 GREAT samples for you today. I think this is my FAVE Flapper Doodles to be released. These festive ladies are ready to Party! I knew they were perfectly paired with the new Cosmo Cricket, Circa 1934 dp. I used the new die from the Textile rectangle Framed Greeting duo-it's tucked behind the main image. I loooove it paired with the Perfect Bracket Edge die-namics, so I used that to shape the bottom of my card. I also added the beautiful faux crocheted border, cut from Black Licorice cs. I worked and worked at this card to fit the sentiment on the outside, I couldn't make it fit.....then duh! I knew it would look fabulous on the inside.

Again, I cut the checked paper with the new Textile Rectangle die and mounted the sentiment on the inside.
And now I'm sooo excited to share this new stamp and die-namics duo- Flower Silhouette! It's something totally new for MFT and I ♥love♥ it! There are 3 different flower images that match the die, making it super easy and fun to cut out. This canvas flower is my fave of the bunch.
The set comes with these beautiful scripty sentiments. This one is going to my neighbor, for her birhtday next week. I used some yellow ruffled ribbon to make a little flower box to hold these sweet blooms. You also get another peek at the Textile Rectangle stamp and die, AND another new die-namics-Flower Border. Told you there would be lots of new goodies today! And there are more tomorrow! See you then.

Here's what you need to know:

  • check out the list of Teaser posts on Kim's Blog everyday around 11 am (EST)

  • leave comments along the way-someone will have secret blog candy (2 $10 gift vouchers for the MFT boutique!) to give away, plus our Dec. Temp team is working hard this month, make sure you tell them how great they are doing!

  • join us for the release party fun on Wed. Dec.1 in the MFT forum 8-10 pm-fun, prizes, and chit chat

  • Enter the Guest Designer Challenge for a chance to hang with the MFT DT next month and win over $100 in free stamps. Check out the DETAILS HERE!

Now onto my teasers! This is the new Tweeny Teen called You Give Me Wings! I think she is just the sweetest thing, and can't wait to make a few more cards with her for my tween-aged neicese. You can't see it well in the photo, but I added some Glitzy Glitter to her wings.

Die-namics here are the Cloud Trio and Little Open Scallop. I added a Perfect Plaid Ribbon/button tab and some sweet My Mind's Eye, Animal Craker paper! Dontcha love the pink and orange color combo?! I do! ☺ I've also been practicing coloring hair with my black and grey copics. Practice makes all the difference.

Up next is a little tutorial for you showing my Guest Designer Contest Sample. Joanne and I are hostesses with the mostest this month and we've challenged you to Stitch it Up!
created a quick little heart pouch with a coordinating love note. Here's how I did it. Beate did this great video tutorial on how to stitch up the pouch with an easy button stitch (watch it for a visual HOW-TO on steps 2 & 3). You can see that here.

Beate made a mitten, but I needed a heart and didn't have a die big enough to cut one the size I wanted. I almost cut one free hand, but decided that was too big a gamble with my precious MFT FELT.

  1. So I traced and cut 2 hearts from the negative of some chipboard I had on hand.

  2. lay them on top of each other and sew together with sewing machine.

  3. use button stitch and embroidery floss to add a fun stitched detail around the heart, leaving the top open, creating a pouch.

  4. use the new dainty dots die-namics die to cut red felt for handle

  5. stitch one end of the die-cut handle to the top of heart
  6. stitch on button with red floss

  7. using the new Hearts a Plenty die-namics die, cut felt hearts, sew together with button and attach to front of the finished pouch with adhesive. I finally got some the The Best Glue Ever and I am really liking it. I found if you use thin lines of it, it works great to hold felt pieces in place (you don't want it soaking through the felt, so keep it thin.) Here's the finished heart pouch, up close.

Here are a few other details I dont' want you to miss:
I used 2 new die-namics for this project-Hearts a Plenty

and dainty dots border. On the coordinating love note card I used:

the small scallop die-namics

Clearly Sentimental abou YOU stamp set

You Spin Me Additions stamp set

Thanks so much for stopping by today. See you tomorrow with more teasers!

Sneaking one in!

I'm sneaking one in today. I had a few minutes while I wait for my sister to get back from Walmart. I made this card the other night for the TCP Tuesday Inpsiration challenge. I saw that chair and knew this dp by Echo Park was what I wanted to use. Pulled out my favorite Ewe for this one, too. Finished it off with a giant felt flurry! Oh, yeah, I also added some Glitzy Glitter to the sentiment and inside pinking border! Cute, eh?!

Surprise Hip Hop!

Check out these specials!!!!
Surprise!!! It's {ippity} and Unity Hip Hop Flip Flop day and we are bringing it to you all a DAY early. With the US Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, we decided to let everyone spend the day with family, BUT didn't want to NOT do Hip Hop....so here we are on a Wed. Plus there are MORE new stamps being released by Unity! YES....MORE!!!! It's another marriage made in heaven-Unity has teamed up with Bella Blvd. to bring you these fabulous Co-Branded stamps!

Lucky for us (the {ippity} DT, I mean) it was a Flip Flop Hip Hop day.....so we get to show you these fabulous new stamps (so is the Unity DT, but this was a special TREAT for us {ippity} girls!) Thanks, Angela!!!

This is the gorgeous set I got to play with. I've been along time fan of the Bella Blvd. papers. I used some of the papers from the Lovey Dovey line to create these sweet little tags.

I was also still itching to use more of the new {ippity} Fall 2010 Release stamps from last week, and the sweet little sentiments from How You Doin' were a perfect fit with these A-doable Bella Blvd. flowers.

Here's a close up of each tag. I am in loooove with making tags

I love that each one is similar, but then different.

They will look great added to any gift,

or even placed on a card base for a card I might need in a jiffy some day.

Tags are all the rage right now! Try making some of your own. I'm warning you, though, they are addicting.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to start back at the Unity Blog-Anglea will have all the details on this week's SALE and these new fabulous STAMPS!!!! Then check with the {ippity} Blog, Stephanie has a sweet tutorial for you today. If you follow the whole hop, you'll eventually see everything!

H{ippity} Hop! and Holiday Ornaments!

Good Morning H{ippity} Hoppers! Hope you enjoyed a great weekend. We did. I got a little family time, a little alone time with hubby, saw a UofM football game and caught up with some old friends. So fun! Now it's gear up time for the holiday on Thursday. I'm not doing dinner, my MIL is, but most of my family is coming into town. I am looking forward to it and the boys couldn't be more excited. They love spending time with their cousins (even if they are all girls!).

Today's H{ippity} Hop theme is Holiday ornaments. After last week's Hip Hop theme, I'm sure you've got lots of ideas floating around in your head-this should be easy. I decided to make my own little Mistle Toe ornament to hang in my hallway, doorway. As much as I wanted to use my new {ippity} stamps, I knew Merry Kissamas was a natural choice for this project.
I made a sweet little accordian flower with some sweet Girls' Paperie dp- Tinsle & Twigg (loooooove this stuff. You will be seeing lots more of it in the coming week and NOT for Christmas stuff, either). I did up both sides with a different sentiment from the set. I think it turned out quite cute.
Here's the FRONT.
and Here's the BACK!
Hop on over to the {ippity} Blog to see all the links to the DT projects and then follow on through the customer hop! I'm sure you'll be seeing LOTS of new {ippity} today!

p.s. I just updated by Garage Sale page and my Ippity Sales page (from what I have left). Let me know if you are interested in purchasing anything!
