Curtain Call-Tulip Reminder

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!!

You have until April 25th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

I don't have tulips but I colored up this pretty mason jar Wildflower Bouquet from Taylored Expressions. I just love this stamp and I was happy to pull it out from my stash this week. I used my zig clean color brush markers to color it up and then cut it out with the matching Wildflower Bouquet die

I used the scallop rectangle to from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate to frame up my pretty flowers, and Beadboard Embossing folder as my card base. I finished it off with some twine and a sentiment circle.

Hop on over to the Curtain Call Blog to link up your project.

Hello! I am sooo happy to be hopping today with this awesome creative hop with Lil' Inker Designs and the CardMaker Blog. I can't wait to see what everyone else creative, so I hope you'll join me to check it out.

I still have a stack of the just released LID April Release products on my desk and this adorable owl was calling my name. I just love him. He is from the Hootie Patootie stamp set. I colored him up with my Copics and then used the Hootie Patootie dies. I added some fun, interactive googlie eyes. So playful.

I added the sentiment from Hootie Patootie along the bottom of the Silly Stitched Squares. Pssst.....that cool "HI" die cut word, is a sneak peek of something coming soooon. Stay tuned....you'll want to pop it in your cart when it releases. I then used the gorgeous Stitched Quartrefoil Cover Up

Color Throwdown 439-Best Things

Hello everyone!  Happy Wednesday!   Vickie is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!  The colors I chose for our challenge are redorangepurple, and yellow.  Remember, we are using generic colors, so as long as you're close, you're good and as always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need into your design as well.  I hope this BRIGHT color palette inspires you to create a card or project and that you'll have fun playing along with our challenge!

If you upload to a public gallery please use the key words CTD439, and please use #ctd439 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so please check them if you are in doubt.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I am so excited to show off this week's card. You know why??? I finally dug out my beloved Unity stamps and picked one to work with. I was so blessed to work with Angela and the amazing design team for a few years. Top notch company and amazing people and adorable stamps. I used the itty bitty, Best Things Just Happen.  I used my zig clean color brush markers to water color the pretty stem in the challenge colors.

I added the purple in by stamping the sentiment twice, once in black and then again in Royal Purple on a piece of scrap paper. I cut that block out and pieced it over top of the stamped black sentiment on the card front. I finished it off with a scattering of sequins.

Reverse Confetti-April SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out. I used the fun and adorable new set Boho Vibes for my card this month. I am bulking up my graduation cards and this set is perfect for the upcoming occasion. I used the feather image stamped with Stormy ink in the background to create a single layer for the rectangle from the sketch.

I cut one of the Circles 'n Scallops circles and added the stitched detail with Detailed Circles Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment from Boho Vibes in Lime Ink. I topped it with the feather and cut it out with the Boho Vibes Confetti Cuts. A strip of washi tape tied it all together.

We can’t wait to see what you create with this sketch…

Here are the challenge details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 27th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.

Color Throwdown 438-Mother's Day Florals

Hello everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  Lynn is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!  The colors she chose for our challenge are coral, yellowleaf green and white

Remember, we are using generic colors, so as long as you're close, you're good and as always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need into your design as well.  I hope this spring color palette inspires you to create a card or project and that you love and that you'll have fun playing along with our challenge!

If you upload to a public gallery please use the key words CTD438, and please use #ctd438 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so please check them if you are in doubt.

I just LOOOOVE the Blooms 'n Buds stamp set. You can create the prettiest bouquets and backgrounds. I stamped a bunch of flowers and leaves in the challenge colors and then used the Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts to cut them out. I then sponged on some distress inks-scattered straw and ripe persimmon to the background and added the Lacy scallop Circle, making it a frame by running it through with two of the circles together.

I used the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cut banner to stamp my sentiment from Whole Lotta Happy! I can't wait to give this to my mom. shhhhh, don't tell her.

Before you head off to create, here’s some inspiration from our talented team to get you started.  I'm looking forward to seeing what you create with these fun colors!

Reverse Confetti April Blog Hop

Hello and welcome! I am super happy to be there today with the RC Confetti Crew to show off some amazing Reverse Confetti products for you. It is a non-release month, but we still want to share and inspire you. Jen has all the details about this month's hop AND a super awesome  SALE on Retiring products. Don't miss it!

Lots to talk about today and I'm super excited about it all. First up is my All About Ewe birthday card. I just adore this sweet little sheep. I stamped him on Cloud White and then used my Zig Clean Color brush markers to water color him. I did the same with the birdie and grass. I used the All About You Confetti Cut to easily cut those pieces out. I set them aside and created the fun framed tag to mount it all up.

You all know I love to frame anything up. I was flipping through my Confetti Cut stash I came across the Gift Card Tag and knew right away I wanted to use it on today's card. I cut it twice, once with Mist card stock for the back ground and then I cut it the frame top piece with Stone card stock. I added some fluffy clouds from Sun 'n Clouds Confetti cuts in a pretty pattern from the Free Spirit paper pack

I added the sentiment from All About Ewe onto a Cloud White card stock strip in RC Aqua ink. That color is just my favorite!

There are some amazing Stamps and Confetti Cuts retiring.  If you see something you just have to have, I would grab it quick. At these prices they will go fast and once they are gone, they are gone. We thought it would be fun to show you some of our favorite projects with a few of the retiring products. I was sad to see these on the list but it was  fun to relive some of my past RC projects.

Sweet Treat Tent Confetti Cuts is a great way to give any kind of treat. I always loved this Confetti Cut die. Here is one I made with the Tag Me Confetti Cut

I actually added a 2 x 2 7/8 panel to the bottom flaps to make a wider base to hold a K-cup birthday treat. It also makes a great card front panel to stamp on or embellish.

Here is another treat I created. This time I tucked in a little cello bag full of yummy sweet treats.

As I was looking through my older projects I smiled when I came across these cards made with the Paper crane stamp set. I just love that sentiment.

I used the Love Note Confetti Cut with this one.
and one more for today. I almost forgot about this card made with the Winning stamp set. The coordinating Confetti Cuts may be sold out, but you can still snatch up the stamps and the images are pretty easy to cut out with scissors. This is a great one to have on hand for all those coaches thank-you gifts.
Like I said above.....an amazing SALE....grab the Retiring sets at a steal of a price.

Be sure to check out the rest of the crew!
so much goodness happening today to inspire you.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team today!
There is so much more to see!
