Color Throwdown 486- A Happy Hello

Hello, Hello! I'm excited to be with you today with this week's Color Throwdown colors. I am the hostess this week.  I chose a soft and pretty Spring color combo of Blush, Pink, and Peach. I hope you love them too.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word CTD486, and please use #ctd486 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure. And, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I know, I know. I used Tall Blooms again. I just love it and it's still on my desk. I inked up three of the Tall Blooms in the challenge colors, specifically from Reverse Confetti: Bellini, Coral, Piggy Bank, and Peach Dye inks. I then stamped the beautiful script sentiment along the bottom in Stormy ink.

A final detail I added is a teeny scalloped edge with the Fun Times paper and the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts

Now here are some wonderful creations from the incredible design team for your inspiration.

Reverse Confetti March SFYTT

Hello, it's so nice to have you stop by today. I am posting with my March SFYTTcard for the monthly Reverse Confetti challenge. There is still time to play along.

I colored up the adorable seal from the just released Sealiously stamp set. I used my copics to color up the image and then cut it out with the coordinating Sealiously Confetti Cuts

I love a great frame, so i used the Fa La La Confetti Cuts and RC Aqua card stock to make a great cirlce window to highlight my image. I used some of the new Fun Times paper patterns to create a  happy feeling to my card. I cut the "hello" from the Hello & Thanks Lable Confetti Cuts to finish off the sketch.

Here is the sketch.
Here are the challenge details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 27th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.

Color Throwdown 485-Piggy says Happy Birthday

A gorgeous color combo from my friend Jodi. This week we are creating with Black, White, and Peach.

I pulled out some Reverse Confetti products to make this simple, yet cute birthday card. The piggy is from Cured. I colored him up with my Copics. I cut the Leaf Lattice Cover Panel from Midnight card stock and then added a strip of pattern paper from the paper pack. I stamped the sentiment in Midnight ink and added a pinking edge with the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts

Now here are some wonderful creations from the incredible design team for your inspiration.

Reverse Confetti Spring Fling Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome. I am so glad to have you stop by and join us for the Spring Blog Hop collaboration with My Sweet Petunia and Reverse Confetti. We have some Spring themed projects to share today and some great tips on how the Misti makes stamping easy!

You should have arrived here from Ilina Crouse blog. You can find the rest of the link list at the bottom of my post. You will want to hop along with us and leave comments along the way.

We will choose two lucky commenters from the hop to win one of two prizes: a $60 shopping spree at www.mysweetpetunia.com and a $60 shopping spree at www.reverseconfetti.com.

You must leave comments no later than Sunday, March 25th, at 11:59 PM Central time. Winners will be announced on Tuesday March 27th, on the Reverse Confetti and My Sweet Petunia blogs.

**ETA*** I guess I didn't make it clear....I also have a Misit to GIVE AWAY! Yes....in addition to the two prizes above. I will be drawing a name for my comments below to win their own MISTI!!
Leave a comment by Sunday March 25 to be entered!

It's true, I NEVER stamp without my Misti anymore. My absolute favorite thing about the Misti is that I can get exact placement of a stamped image and stamp again if I didn't quite get full ink coverage. I double stamp all my black sentiments to ensure a crisp, dark image.

Today I created a duo of sweet little seed packets to give as a little gifty this Spring. I started with the Bitty Window Bag and stamped one of the images from Tall Blooms in Coral and Peach ink on the back side.

Before Is started stamping, I went ahead and marked the edges of the Bitty Window Bag on the grid paper in my Misti. With all the lines and squares, it is so easy to line things up. This makes for speedy stamping when doing multiples. I simply count the number of squares I move over the bag and then I'll get the same image placement (because I don't move the stamp) with each bag I stamp.

On the front side of the bag, I used the grid lines to line up the letters from the Alphabetical to spell out the word "seeds" in Stormy Ink. I then got busy with the tag. I love the new Dashed Line Tag Confetti Cut. I cut it from Premium Polar White card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Love Blooms in Stormy and added a few Tall Blooms in the same, Coral and Peach inks I used on the bag.

This was a perfect example of how I had to stamp the blooms twice. The dashed lines on the tag, made it a little difficult to get a completely inked image.

So I lifted the lid, inked the bloom again and put it down right in the same spot, to get a complete image. It makes me so happy. Here is the completed project again.

I bought a couple of mixed flower seed packets and emptied them into some clear cello bags I had. I trimmed off the tops, to make them fit the size of the Bitty Window Bags, and then folded them over and stapled them close.

I tucked them inside the completed bags and tied on some twine. The tag kind of gives a little peak-a-boo effect and you can slide it to the side to see inside the window.

The final touch I added was a white heat embossed Tall Bloom on Stormy card stock. I cut it out with the Tall Blooms Confetti Cuts and then then added it to the top of my tags.

Jeanne Streiff is next!
