Simon Says STAMPtember & Reverse Confetti

It's an exciting day! It's the Reverse Confetti STAMPtember Release and it's a good one!
Check out the beautiful no-coloring Christmas tree set and it's cute!!
It's called FaLaLa Trees!

I used a mix of greens, teal and pink inks to create two cards today.

This is a mini slim-line card and I added a sparkly frame from the just released Window Confetti Cut.

It certainly is the most wonderful time of the year!

How awesome is this new Joy to the World Confetti Cut?!! I used it to make a table top decoration (it could be a shaped card, but there is no room to write a message inside). I used a top folding white card base and just made sure to slide the die down a bit so it didn't cut through the fold. Then I cut a second greeting with the striped paper and adhered it to the top of the card base. It's so sweet! I tucked in a sprig of pine and some berries from the Poinsettia stamp set.

I created a second card for today with the Poinsettia stamp set. Sweet little holly branch and cut it out with the coordinating Poinsettia Confetti Cuts. I tucked in a greeting from the same stamp set cut into a thin strip. It was the perfect starter for the Christmas Hot Foil plate. I am addicted to those hot foils...such a stunning element to add to any card.

Here is the full card look. It's simple, yet so elegant!

One of my all time favorite fall sets is Re-Releasing this month. Fall Foliage! It has the most amazing leaf images. I kept my card simple and tucked in a leaf and berry image that I water colored. I then used the Fall Foliage Confetti Cut to cut them out.

I really wanted the silver foiled sentiment to stand out. It's one of the new Hot Foil Plates, called Gather. That script is so pretty! I added some embossed lines along the bottom and then stamped a sentiment from the Autumn Sentiments stamp set.

RC September Countdown to Confetti/ Day 1

It's time for the Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti!

I am so excited to show you this new Hello Bootiful  stamp set today.  I created a festive background with the two ghost images (OMG! I love them! Such a fresh & fun take on the ghost) and then filled in some of the blank spaces with the stars. I thought the monochromatic color scheme was so trendy, yet classic!

I added the sentiment right to the center of the card in black ink. That font is amazing, don't you think?!I finished the card off with some sequins and a strip of striped paper along the bottom.

My next card uses the same Hello Bootiful stamp set, but I added some color and lots of layers. I started with an ink blended background and added the stars and moon, then layered over the Window Confetti Cut. I stamped the ghost and spider images and cut them out with the coordinating Hello Bootiful Confetti Cuts.

The sentiment was heat embossed in black onto a vellum card stock layer. I love the way it mutes the backdrop, giving it a smokey or foggy feel to the card.

Join me, to see what the rest of the team has in store for us!
