Color Throwdown586-Bunnies and Gnomes

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to be this week's CTD challenge hostess. I found this darling Spring gnome image and was inspired  to share it with you all. I have a  fun Spring combo for you! I hope you love the combo of Pink,Purple, and white as much as I do! Of course, you can always add any neutrals you need for your design! I just cannot wait to see what you all create with these colors!

If you upload to a public gallery please use the keyword CTD586, and please use #ctd586 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please be sure to use a link to your specific post, not just a generic link to your blog.  And remember only paper created designs are allowed. Please check out the challenge rules in the sidebar if you are new to the challenge.

I went right to my Reverse Confetti stash and pulled the sweet bunnies from the Spring Bunnies. I stamped out the egg and chick too and got busy coloring. I kept them in grey tones with some splashes of pink to follow the challenge colors. I then cut them out with the Spring Bunnies Confetti Cuts.  I just had to include a gnome, and fortunately, the Holiday Gnomes stamp set can be colored for any occasion.

My sentiment was quick and easy with some Royal cardstock and the Happy Easter Confetti Cut. I then added the finished pieces to a water colored background created with some ink smooshing, distress inks, and water color paper. I tucked in a few sequins and enamel dots to finish this off.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

Inspired by-Hello Spring

It's a new week and a new challenge is up on the Inspired By Blog. I sure hope Spring is here soon. I see signs every day.

This card was very therapeutic for me the other day. It was the best way to disconnect from the crazy of world. I used the two images from the new Tulips set from Reverse Confetti and stamped them all over a copic friendly paper. Once the ink was dry, I got busy coloring with Copic markers. I added a strip of striped paper to the side.

The sentiment was created with the Hello & Thanks Word Duo Confetti Cut and then I added a white embossed sentiment from the Tulips set on Midnight card stock.

Here is a look at the full card. I hope you'll be inspired and come play along with the challenge. You can find the details over on the Inspired By Blog.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you are staying safe and healthy and sane!

Thank you  if you use them. they are at no extra charge to you, but help me purchase consumables for my continued paper crafting and sharing. I appreciate you.)

The flowers are from the newest Choose Joy stamp set. I stamped them three times in Coral, Bellini , and Iced Aqua inks and added to the top of one of the leaf images. I used the coordinating Choose Joy Confetti Cuts. The sentiment is from the Perfect Timing stamp set. During the last week and the coming weeks, we have to cling to something. Picket Fence Studios March Release

In the midst of the craziness right now, there is nothing better to do than craft and shop. It's the March release for Picket Fence Studios and we can't wait to share all the goodness with you. You can shop the full release HERE!

First up from me is some stencil work with the awesome new Paper Glaze. Have you tried it yet? It is so fun to work with. I picked two colors and mixed them together to create a custom color. I used some Peony Pink and Cornflower Blue, mixed them up in a little cup and then added it over the Current of Fish Stencil

I finished the card with some silver glitter paper and the I Miss You Word Die. I added it over the shadow piece to the die. I tucked in some purple sequins and some striped design paper.

I combined lots of new products on this next card. I started with the Mermaid Scales Stencil. I then created a subtle ocean floor with images from the Things on the Sea Floor

I colored up the sweet turtle with Copics from the Swim in the Sea stamp set and then used the Swim in the Sea Die. I am not sure if you can see it in this photo, but I added some shimmer to the turtle shell with a clear Wink of Stella pen.

I added the sentiment from  Wentletrap Shell Scene in the negative space of the Word Bubble Die

There is so much to see, be sure to check out the rest of the design team. Don't forget you can shop the New Release HERE.

Color Throwdown 584-Lucky Rainbow

Hi all,  Amy is this week's hostess! She picked a multi-tonal green combo with a splash of black and white to round things out on the neutral front, perfect for St. Patrick's Day next week. Come play along with us this week and share your creations in the gallery linked at the bottom of the Color Throwdown post

If you upload to a public gallery please use the keyword CTD584, and please use #ctd584 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please be sure to use a link to your specific post, not just a generic link to your blog.  And remember only paper created designs are allowed.

I pulled out a handful of Confetti Cuts, a mix of new and old from Reverse Confetti. I had different plans when I started this card but I love how this ended up. I will have all the products linked below. Thanks for shopping my affiliate links (at no extra charge to you), it really means so much to me. I used four colors Premium Polar White, Lime Green, Avocado and Midnight.

I cut two cover panels, Double Stitched Frame and Stitched Rays from Premium Polar White card stock. I layered those up with some foam dimension.

I then cut the Over the Rainbow Confetti cuts in Lime Green and again in Avocado card stock. I used only two strips of both colors. TIP: place the cut strips back into the die for perfect placement. Then add your adhesive so the pieces of your rainbow are back together for a perfect fit. I cut two clouds from more Premium Polar White card stock. I finished the card off with a die cut word from the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cut in Midnight card stock.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

We are entering the final quarter of the school year and teacher appreciation week is coming soon. This set, School Days, is perfect for teachers and I love the bus image and all the bits and pieces you can use to encourage anyone really in life. I got busy coloring up the sweet images and then started with a tag and the new Scallop Window Tag Confetti Cuts.

I love that you can use the scallop die piece or not with the stitched tag. I used it here some I could create a little scene with the School Days stamp set and some paper from Sweet as Sugar.   I tied the finished tag to a succulent. I dressed up the pot with a strip of designer paper from Sweet Stripes.

Next up I didn't want to forget our bus driver. She's pretty awesome and has such an important job. I knew I wanted to make her a special card.

I layered up the two new Cover Panels, Double Stitched Frame and Diagonal Scallops Cover Panel. I love the look. I wanted to add a little sunshine, so I also colored up the cloud and sun from Chalk it Up. I finished up the card with the sentiment stamped along the bottom portion of the Double Stitched Window Cover Panel

Today is my favorite day of sneak peaks. I Love all the RC styles, but I love me some Dawn Machel designs. First up are these sweet little bunnies from the the Spring Bunnies set. I am in love. This set is great for Spring and has some adorable Easter components to it as well. I went with a combo of Spring images and love how it came together. I colored them with Copics and used the matching Spring Bunnies Confetti Cuts to cut them out.

I grounded the sweet little bunnies with some Lime Green card stock scallops I snipped from the Diagonal Stripes Cover Panel.I did a little watercolor ink smooshing in the background and stamped the sentiment along the bottom from Spring Bunnies stamped in RC Aqua ink.

Oh, my! next to Dawn's bunnies, I LOVE her bears. The new Chalk It Up stamp set is soooo awesome. I love the bunny and the bear included in it. I stamped up a few of the extras included in the set and colored them all up with my Copic markers and used the Chalk It Up Confetti Cuts to cut out each of the images. Oh, and the chalkboard, I created by stamping the bear image with some Versamark ink onto Midnight cardstock and then I did a little fussy cutting to cut out only the inside of that frame. I hit it with my anit-static pouch and then stamped the sentiment in Versamark and added white embossing powder. I adhered it to the top of the frame. An extra step or two, yes, but the results makes it all worth it.

I cut out the new Double Stitched Window Frame Confetti Cuts. from Mist card stock and then layered a card base of Premium Polar White card stock behind it. I added some Coral ink with a Life Changing Blender Brush in the background and then added all my  bits and pieces.

woohoo! tomorrow is RELEASE DAY, but before you go....

Here is the list of who is hopping along today.
Stop by and leave some love. You could win a prize!
