Reverse Confetti {World Gratitude Blog Hop}

Hello friends. I am so glad you are here today. Fall is finally upon us and REVERSE CONFETTI is celebrating the change of seasons along with a little known holiday.  

Did you know that today is World Gratitude Day? 

World Gratitude Day is your opportunity to show your gratitude and appreciation for anything or anyone in your life with meaningful actions.  To get you in the spirit of gratitude, the CONFETTI CREW has put together some fabulous creations with a “fall-ish flair” and a special “Gratitude Blog Hop”.

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Lauries’s blog.  We hope you take a few minutes to enjoy what we’ve put together.  

We want the gratitude to be contagious enough to inspire you to get creative and make something for someone you appreciate!

I went and found a pretty fall color inspiration for my card, over on pinterest.

I used the color scheme and played up a bit of that curvy pattern on my card. I really love how it turned out.

I used some neutral designer paper from Carta Bella-rough and tumble, for my card base. The reverse side were some navy and cream polka dots, but I decided it was too much, so I stuck with a neutral.  I do adore those flecks of navy here and there in the textured cardstock.

I love the mix and match sentiments from Count Your Rainbows. I made my own custom greeting. I stamped each in a different color, and then highlighted the word "count" with a bit of Pistachio Copic marker.

and that means you can combine the

words in lots of different ways to make your own 

custom greeting. So cool!

I pulled out two of my other favorite RC stamp sets to finish off this card. I used a few different dotted borders from A Whole Lotta Dots to accent my curvy panels along the bottom of my image panel. I used some tone on tone stamping to bring them to life. 

I also pulled out Forever Fall so I could stamp some pretty acorns ( I stamped them 4 times, twice in Navy for the toppers and once each in Fuse Green and Tangy orange.  I then cut out the polka dot tops and pieced them on top of the other two for a multi-colored acorn embellie.) and the woodgrain border in the background. 

A big twiney bow and a few navy enamel dots were my finishing touches on the card. Oh, yeah, and I added some walnut stain distress ink around the edges  before I attached it all together.
