Color Throwdown #458-Hello Back to School

Hi, everyone!  Lynn is here with this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #458! It's that time of year again when all the kids go back to school and she picked a  few primary school colors for this week's challenge. To play along, please use the colors redyellow and green and if you'd like, feel free to add any neutral color to your creation!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD458, and please use #ctd458 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.  When linking your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a specific link to your individual blog post and not just a generic link to your blog.  Also, please be sure to check out all the "rules" in the right sidebar.  We do not accept totally digital creations, only digital images printed, colored, and added to your paper-crafted project will be allowed.

I started this card with the ABC Cover Panel Confetti Cut in Sand card stock. I then layered on a piece of vellum cut with the great rounded rectangle from Documented Confetti Cuts. I added the notebook topper  detail with the Office Edges Confetti Cuts

I then inked up the alphabet All Apple in Pistachio ink, the leaf was inked in Grass ink and stem in Sand. I used the All Apple Confetti Cuts to cut the pieces out and then assembled the apple. I also layered on a few pieces from Worm Wishes. That polka dotted apple is just the cutest! I topped it off with a sweet little Midnight "hello" from Hello and Thanks Label Confetti Cuts

Color Throwdown #457-Little Piggy

Hi, everyone!  It’s Lori's turn as hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are pink, yellow, and gray.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD457 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd457 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I inked up the sweet little piggy from Cured. I colored him up with copics and used the Cured Confetti Cuts to cut him out and a few of the grass pieces for accent. In the background I sponged on some pretty  Lotsa Dots stencil in Buttercup ink on to Premium Polar White card stock.

I added the sentiment from Cured in Stormy ink onto a Stone  with the Figure of Speech Confetti Cuts. I then tucked in some strips of Under the Umbrella designer paper on the sides of my card base.

Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you're in doubt. One last detail to remember -  no digital designs--only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I just love this sweet little monkey from the Monkey Business stamp set. He really is great for all occasions. After I colored him up and the sweet little balloons, I used the Monkey Business Confetti Cuts to cut them out. I added him to a window I created with the Hello & Thanks Label  Confetti Cuts and then added a get well sentiment from the Sentiment Essentials, inked up with Parakeet ink. I then quickly cut them out with the matching Sentiment Essentials Confetti Cuts.  I brought in the yellow from the challenge colors with a piece of pattern paper from Pattern Play 6x6 paper pack

Color Throwdown 455-hello mouse

Hi, everyone!  Jodi is here with a brand new set of colors for this week's challenge. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: Light pink, aqua, Lavender and white, you're in good company! As always, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD455, and please use #ctd455 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up

You know I love my tags. I used the Round Top Tag Confetti Cut in Premium Polar White and Piggy Bank card stock. I added the sweet little mouse from Mouse Mail over top. I used my copic markers to make him a light lavender color. I tied in the aqua color with my favorite Iced Aqua and the hello from the Hello & Thanks  Label Confetti Cut. I sponged on some ink and then tied on an aqua twine bow. I framed up the Premium Polar White panel with Iced Aqua
