Well, not really, but I have to give Kristin a hard time right back. She uploaded a challenge to our
GSG blog (we've been dormant for months now, and
Kristin challenged us to get stamping again) last week and not many played along. She posted
this challenge yesterday and told us we all better get busy! I have some new products (I'll share more of what I've been doing tomorrow) so this was easy, except for the monochromatic part. I love cards done in all one color, but not when I have bright, colorful new
dsp to play with. I went with the blue bird
dsp from Good Morning Sunshine and paired it with the adorable bird from Good Friend.

So the other part of the challenge was to use two sets, one current and one retired. I cheated on this part and couldn't bring myself to use a retired set. I don't know why, I have plenty of them. The sentiment I did with Say it With Scallops. I punched it out with a 1 inch circle punch and tucked it behind my bow! Can you see it? The textured, embossed panel on the bashful blue layer? I was just about to give these a big Thumbs Down, but once I added three pieces of cs to my big shot sandwich I 'm starting to get the results I like. So there you have it, a pretty blue bird card. Thanks Kristin for the kick in the pants. Come play along, and be sure to link your card to the
GSG blog.
Hugs, Lisa
