Color Throwdown 478-You're So Cool

Hello there! It's Lynn is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #478!  She chose a cozy colorful inspiration photo with some bright colors to cheer up anyone who has the winter doldrums. I hope you'll like creating with the colors Hot PinkLime GreenYellow and Pale Blue for this week's challenge and I hope they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD478, and please use #ctd478 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I was excited that these colors  for this week fit right in with the playful papers from Cheerful & Kind by Reverse Confetti. I cut a strip of the striped pattern and adhered it to the Cloud White panel. I back that all in Baby Blue  card stock.

I cut the Topped Off Tags Confetti Cuts in Baby Blue card stock and layered on some dots with the Dots Tag Layer. I inked up the hat from Happy Winter in Parakeet Tangerine inks. I used the Happy Winter Confetti Cuts to cut out the winter hat.  I added a twine bow and tucked in some glittery Let It Snow Confetti Cuts flakes.  I am turning this into a birthday card with a "happy birthday" greeting on the inside.

Color Throwdown 477

Hi, everyone!  Lori is our hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are aqua, orange, and gray.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD477 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd477 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

Before you head off to create, here’s some inspiration from our talented team to get you started.  The CTD team is looking forward to seeing what you create with these fun colors!

I pulled out this fun pattern paper because it reminded me of the quilted look of the placemats in the inspiration photo. It's from the Cheerful & Kind paper pack. I know, it's not really aqua, but I loved it and it was in blue so I used it. I cut out the frame with the Hello & Thanks Label Confetti Cuts and Mist card stock.

I cut the stars from the Congratulations Confetti Cuts in Tangerine card stock and then added a birthday greeting from Sentiment Essentials. in Stormy ink.  I love how the words are cut with a border around them, thanks to the matching Sentiment Essentials Confetti Cuts

Color Throwdown 476

Hello Color Throwdown fans! So glad you are joining me today. It's Lisa Henke here with this soft and neutral color combo today. It sure is perfect for our recent weather here in Ohio. We have had a ton of snow and color weather and the kids actually got to get out and play in the snow. The colors this week are Kraft, Light Blue, and White. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Remember the colors are generic, so as long as you are using similar colors to the ones in the graphic,  you'll be good to go.

Please use keywords CTD476 in public galleries and #ctd476 and#colorthrowdown on social media. There is also a link up at the bottom of this post. We kindly ask that you please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check them out to be sure. And no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I made this card last week for my son's birthday. When your birthday is in January, you get a snowman on your card. I just adore the Cool Friend images from Reverse Confetti. I colored him up with copics and cut our the snow buddy with the Cool Friends Confetti Cuts

I used the new Kindness cards Confetti Cuts rounded rectangle to cut out the frame for my card. In the background I stamped a greeting from  another new stamp set, Congratulations, in Mist ink onto Mist card stock. I added a few strips of pattern paper from Cheerful & Kind and Free Spirit paper packs.

Reverse Confetti-January SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out.

I still am loving these little snowmen. I colored up the tall one from Cool Friend. We have had a ton of snow (last year we got none, to speak of) over the last week. My boys have been off school or had delays more days than they have attended school since the New Year. It's been great, but enough is enough. We need routine.

I used lots of other great Confetti Cuts to create my card.  The striped panel is cut with Mist card stock with the Tall Striped Panel Confetti Cut

I used some fun pattern paper from the Cheerful & Kind Bit 6x6 paper pack and cut some layering circles from Pop Up Circle Confetti Cut

The sentiment is stamped in Midnight ink onto a banner from Flowers For Mom.I added the teeny hearts from Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cuts. I cut them from Navy card stock.

Here is the sketch this month.

Here are the challenge details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 27th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.
Reverse Confetti stamps and/or Confetti Cuts are required to win.  This is a way we get to thank our customers for using our stamps.  Anyone is welcome to play, though!
You may enter as many times as you wish.
There will be a winner each month and that person will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog at the end of the month the month.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs, Lisa

Lil' Inker Designs January Release-Day 3

Welcome back! We are on our final day of the Lil' Inker Designs January release! I am so glad you are here, we have had three fun-filled days sharing the awesome new products that are available NOW from LID!

I am a sucker for any little critter or animal stamp, so I was just giddy when I saw the new Farm Love stamp set. I knew it would pair perfectly with the Quilted Stitched XOXO die. I created the little piggy scene on the tag from Silly Stitched Square dies

I stamped the pig and then colored him up with my copics. I love that there are matching Farm Love dies that make it easy to cut out the images, the balloon included. The little hill was cut with the Border Builder dies. I added the sentiment from Farm Love in the upper corner.

Here is a detailed shot of the new Quilted Stitched XOXO die. Isn't the subtle detail so great for a background?

Next up is a fun, fun set, I just think you will all love. It's a Valentine's Day set for all the gal pals in your life. It's called Galentine's Day! I created a trio of tags that are ready to go onto any gifty or card base.  I love having tags on hand ready to go.

I used the Anytime Tag Die 2 for each of the tags. I took time to stamp and color up three different images and used the coordinating sentiments with each of them. First up are the fries. I stamped the sentiment in the background, tone on tone and then added the "Happy Galentine's Day" sentiment in black ink. There are no dies with this set, but the images are easy to cut out with no problem.

For this one, I went ahead and used the tote image to create my background for the tag. I then added the sentiment in black ink onto a strip of white card stock that I cut with the Long & Skinny Rectangles die .

The final tag, might just be my favorite. I adore the sentiment. I am thinking this one might be the first one I use and add it to bottle of wine. What a sweet way to say thank-you or present a hostess gift. I can't wait to see what you all do with the Galentine's Day Stamp set

Here are the links of the DT posts for today.
Don't forget to leave comments for a chance to win the full release.
