Color Throwdown 471-a Warm Hello

Hello there! It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #471!  I hope you'll like the Black, Grey, Gold, and White  colors for this week's challenge and I hope they inspire you to create something special. I just love the pop of shimmer the gold adds. I can't wait to see what you all do with these.

I went with a wintry card today. I am still loving the little snowman cuties from the Cool Friend stamp set. I stamped him onto some copic friendly paper and colored him up with my Copic markers to add some color before I cut him out with the Cool Friend Confetti Cuts

In the background I used the new Happy Winter stamp set in the challenge colors. I stamped them in my Reverse Confetti inks in Midnight, stormy, and then Stone. I stamped the sentiment from Cool friends and masked off the "hello". I used the Fancy Words Coordinates Confetti Cut in gold glitter paper.

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

Lil' Inker Designs Mini November Release

Hello, hello welcome to our Mini Release with Lil' Inker Designs. We have a few exciting products we just couldn't wait to share with you so we decided to do combine a mini release with a Black Friday Sale! Today we are sharing some projects and they will be available on November 24th in conjunction with Black Friday.

We are also giving away a prize! Leave comments on the DT blogs for a chance to win!
You could win the entire release!

This Magical Winter Stamp set is sooooo fantastic and full of cuteness! I stamped the unicorn and added a sweet little wintry scarf. I used the matching Magical Winter die cuts to cut it out.

I embossed some snowflakes in the background with white embossing powder and then added some ink blending to create the wintry sky. I used the Side Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the main image panel and added a snowy hill, complete with glitter, with the Border Builder Dies

Up next is a set you are not going to want to miss. I could not put it down. It's called Unstoppable and the sentiments are awesome, but the background building images are even more awesome! So many options and ways to use them....wait until you see the rest of the teams' projects.

First one I did was a colorful mix of lots of the images, combined with one of my favorite sayings. Seriously, I say this all the time. I squealed when I saw it included in this set.

My next card uses thee of the images from Unstoppable, those tiny specks in black are just the best! I cut out the panel with the Silly Stitched Squares.  Simple and sweet and sometimes you just need that.

Reverse Confetti-November SFYTT

Hello Fetti Friends! I have a card for you today with the current SFYTT. There is still time to play along, so come check it out.

I used the Nuts about You to create a sweet little cluster of falling leaves and colored up the acorn and mushroom images. I then used the Nuts About You Confetti Cuts to cut out the images. The leaves were stamped in Baby Blue and Mist inks on the Mist card stock. I used the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts to frame up the image panel.

Following the sketch, I tucked in a corner piece with Stone card stock and then used one of my favorite patterns from Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pack. I used the Premium Polar White card stock for my top folding card base.

Here is the sketch
Here are the challenge details…
There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.
The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 27th. The SFYTT button is  posted on the sidebar.  Click on it to be taken to the current SFYTT post and link list.

Color Throwdown 469-Peace

Good Morning!  Vickie is  our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #469!  I love the monochromatic colors she picked for this week. The little bit of sparkle makes me happy !I We are playing with blue, light blue, and silver.  I hope you enjoy the colors and that they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD469, and please use #ctd469 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

The gorgeous pine cones reminded me of these beautiful pine images from the Lil' Inker Designs stamp set, Rustic Christmas. I am loving how they look in the blue inks. I stamped a cluster of them along the edge of the circle frame and then stamped the trees in grey ink. I added a simple sentiment in black.

I used the Stitched Mats Circles to cut a silver frame and then mounted in over the Rounded Rectangle in white. It's fun to stamp holiday images in non-traditional colors. This one is so pretty!

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

Reverse Confetti November Release!

Happy Reverse Confetti Release day!!! I am so excited for you all to get a chance to shop. All the new products are loaded into the store. Be sure to stop by Jen's Blog, she always has the release details.

Totally loving these sweet snow buddies. They are from the Cool Friends stamp set and super easy to color up. I stamped them with the RC Midnight ink onto Cloud White card stock and did a little quick water coloring (yes, the ink is water resistant and the Cloud White card stock is great for watercoloring) with my Zig Clean Color Brush markers. I am using the colors from this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #478. After I colored them, I used the Cool Friends Confetti Cuts to cut them out.

I used a green pattern from the Cheerful & Kind paper pack and cut it with the Large Diamond Cover Panel Confetti Cut. I used Dark Roast card stock to cut out the amazing  Scalloped Square, to frame up my snow cuties.I just love the stitched details. I added a glittery snowflake from Let It Snow Confetti Cuts.  I stamped a sentiment from Cool Friends in Midnight ink onto a Sand banner die from Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts. Such a happy, fun card dontcha think??

And now the blog hop.

Welcome to a fun filled four days with the Fetti Crew! It is day 3 of the Reverse Confetti November Release!! The fun started yesterday,  and we have more sneak peeks of all the fabulous new products releasing on the 8th! We are so glad you are here!  There is so much to see....stamps, Confetti Cuts, papers.....we're getting crafty for some holiday & winter  fun! The release is November 8, but we are excited to hang with you for another few days with sneaky peek of all the goodness.

In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts of the DT members' blogs, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed.

Please go to the RC blog for all the details.

The Happy Winter stamp set is too cute and such a fun stamp set to work with. I pulled out some of my favorite RC ink colors, RC Aqua, Mist, Stone, Stormy, and Olive and got busy stamping those darling hats and all their pieces. I stamped all the pretty pieces onto Premium Polar White card stock. It's so great for showing off these solid images.

The fact that each piece is individual makes it super eat to customize your design. I  used the Happy Winter Confetti Cuts to cut each out and then got buys assembling the hats.

In the background you'll notice more of the gorgeous plaid printed paper from Cheerful & Kind and I made sure to use the Small Diamond Tiles Cover Panel cut from Mist card stock. I also tucked in some Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts cut from Premium Polar White card stock.

Be sure to check out the rest of the design team today!
