Sweet Sunday Sketch 271 {something wonderful}

 Welcome to Sunday and another great sketch with the Sweet Sunday Sketch team. I used one of the just released TCP stamps, I Are Fun.

I used my favorite circle frame from Framed Up 2 to highlight the sentiment. Following the sketch, I decided to use that sweet bear image for my fishtail flag layer. In the background you'll find the fun Dots Cutups. The color combo is one of favorites, too. It's Limelight, Tropical Teal, and Summer Splash from MFT.

Here is the sketch this week. You'll have to stop by and see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch team has done with this week's sketch. Sweet stuff, I tell you.

You'll also want to stop by to join the fun and link up. Thanks for stopping by here today. Enjoy your day!

Reverse Confetti May SFYTT

**please scroll down for my TCP Blog Hop Card**

There is still time to link up to the May SFYTT with Reverse Confetti. I have a sample for you in case you still need a little inspiration for the challenge. I made a congrats card, knowing I'll be popping a few graduation cards in the mail over the next few weeks.

Circle Sentiments are super fun to stamp with and I placed them in the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cut and then layered that over the awesome Star Pretty Panel. Following the sketch I added two of the Stitched Flag Trio pieces, but trimmed one of them down to a skinnier width. Oh, and I cut them from one of the awesome Let's Celebrate Quick Card Panels. I finished the card off with a trio of the grey stars from the Star Pretty Panel

Here is the sketch:

TCP May Release Blog Hop

It's finally here.....release day with The Cat's Pajamas.  We have been teasing you all week long and now it's time to shop! I can't wait to see what you all purchase. Before you run off to shop, we have one more Blog Hop you won't want to miss. The fun starts on the TCP Blog, and hopefully you just came from Tammy's  blog

I combined lots of the new products, wait no, I used all new products on my card today. I love the Stitched Fly Cutups and I wanted to finally use it in it's full glory. I used it to frame the gorgeous Drop In stamp

I wanted to show how beautiful image is whether it's colored, paper pieced and even stamped in a solid color like I did here. I did add some subtle shading with a few copics. To finish off the card, I cut some Stitched Clouds along the bottom. Pretty sequins and a chocolate twine bow were the perfect embellies to complete the look.

 I was inspired by the current Color Throwdown Color Challenge.

 Speaking of challenges, it's also time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge. We want you to play......come check it out. It's ANYTHING GOES, so you have no excuses, not to play.

Here is another look at the products I used on today's card.

That's it from me, I will send you on your way to see more awesome TCP creations with the new products from this release.  Wendy Bond is up next! Meet you over there.

TCP Sneaky Peek {day 6-Sweet Sunday Sketch}

Welcome back. I have a double duty card today. We are still peeking the awesome new products releasing from The Cat's Pajamas on Tuesday and today is a new Sweet Sunday Sketch. I combined the two. I love my card and I LOVE these new products.

I started the Stitched Wavy border in place of the rounded edge on the sketch. Then I cut my favorite circle die from Framed Up 2. I then used the stitched script word "fly" from the new Stitched Fly Cutups. Seriously, this is such a versatile die, so many ways to use it. I simply snipped out the word "fly" from the frame. It was so easy.  I added one of the beautiful silhouette bird images from Bird Friends. I added a stamped sentiment from Take Flight

Here is the sketch from the challenge. Go check out the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog for all the challenge details and the link up.

TCP Sneaky Peek {day 5}

We are getting closer and closer to release day with The Cat's Pajamas. I can't wait. Today's set is sooooo great. I love the giant moon and the crazy trio of penguins having fun. It's called Constellation Prize. I made a sweet little flat shaker card with some vellum and the awesome Stitched Clouds Cut ups. seriously LOVE those dies. I attached some vellum and added an assortment of sequins behind it.

I colored up the Constellation Prize image with my Copics and then did a little fussy cutting to cut them out. I added the to my card front and then stamped the sentiment with some Ombre inks on a Lemon Chiffon strip of card stock.

here's a closer look. I also added a little bit of shimmer with a wink of stella clear glitter. More glimmer was added with some silver glitter paper and the Stars Cutups

If you don't have those yet, make sure to pop them into your card. I Love the outline dies. They rock.

TCP Sneaky Peek {day 4}

The fun continues with The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. What is your favorite so far, or should I ask favorites?? Maybe today's set is just what you've been waiting for. It's quite lovely. It's called Take Flight

 I chose to not use any of the birds and instead focused on the birdhouses. I cut a few from the coordinating Birdhouse Cut Ups and mounted them onto a Framed Up 2 circle. I added some embossed polka dots from Dots Cut Ups. A trio of Stitched Clouds were added to the background. Gosh those clouds are awesome!

I created a custom background with some of the hearts from Take Flight. I then added the sentiment in Blueberry ink.
