Sweet Sunday Sketch { & some Lil' Inker Design}

Hello and welcome back for the latest and greatest Sweet Sunday Sketch. I had fun with this week's layout and pulled out some pretties from Lil' Inker Designs. No stamping on this card, showing off the amazing dies and the gorgeous new Dip Dyed Ombre' 6x6 papers. Have you ordered yours?? All three packs of the ombre papers are wonderful.

I cut the pink ombre color with the Eyelet Cover Up and used that as my background. I topped it with a Long & Skinny stitched rectangle and then added some Perky Posies. In place of the fishtail tag from from the sketch, I opted for the brush stroke Hello Word Die cut from vellum. I love the soft and pretty feel of this card.

Here is the sketch to play along with this week. Be sure to hop on over to the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog for all the challenge details, the link up, AND some sweet inspiration from the DT. They rock!

Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!

Reverse Confetti June SFYTT {hello sunshine}

It's a friendly reminder that the June Sketch For You To Try Challenge is still up and you still have a bit of time to play along. It's a wonderful sketch and why not link up your card. You could win!!

Bright sunny colors and striped paper really pop against the crisp white. I stamped the sentiment from Shine Bright with Black Licorice hybrid ink and then used my copics to add some ombre coloring.I made a sweet flat shaker card with some vellum and the Documented Confetti Cut with the window cut out from the middle Shakers 'n Frames Confetti Cut. I tucked in some pretty sequins for the card movement. I love how easy it is to make a shaker card with just a few dies.

 I slid up the strip and circle element from the sketch, to the top of my shaker and layered up a yellow sun from Sun 'n Clouds and a pretty orange "hello" die cut from Fancy Words

Here is the sketch!

TCPTuesday {thanks bunches}

 Hello stamping friends! Happy to see you here today. I have a card for the next TCPTuesday Challenge with The Cat's Pajamas. It's an inspiration photo and it was the perfect excuse for me to ink up one of my all time favorite TCP images....Wheel Love

I created a sweet rolling hill side with the Wavy Stitched Border. I cut it from Gumdrop Green card stock and snipped off the edges to fit my panel. I added some sweet Stitched clouds in the pink chevron pattern. Did you know those are FREE with a $60 order!! I love free product! I added some sequins and Divine Twine. TCP has lots of color choices.

Here is the challenge graphic! Come play along.

Stop by the TCP Blog for all the details.

Sweet Sunday Sketch {Dads Rock}

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!! We are celebrating out at the lake....praying for sunshine today (although we REALLY need the rain). I hope you are able to celebrate with the guys you love in your life, today!

It's also time for a brand new Sweet Sunday Sketch and I have the cad that is going to my dad, because he rocks! I used the current sketch and a whole slew of Reverse Confetti products, starting with the Pina Colada Quick Card Panel. I cut it on the diagonal and adhered it to my card base with a gap in the center to follow the sketch.

I used the Tag Me Confetti Cut to create my tag with Vellum Card Stock and heat embossed the sentiment from Sugary Sweet Sentiments.

I added some fun Sour Apple stars from Oh, My Stars and sequins to finish the card off.

Here is the sketch!

Be sure to come check out the Sweet Sunday Sketch Blog to see all the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the DT and to Link Up!
It's always fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks-Final Deconstructed Sketch

I was so bummed when I read Jen's announcement about her ending The Deconstructed Sketch. It was probably one of the very first challenges outside of Splitcoast Stampers that I played along with. Even though I may not have always played along, her sketch was also the one I checked out each week. Those sketches are top notch! So when I read this was her final one, I HAD to link up. I wish her all the best!

I used all Reverse Confetti stamps and dies on this card. I used the Tag me die and embossed the greeting from Circle Sentiments with white embossing powder.

I used Petals 'n Posies to layer up a pretty flower and tucked in a few leaves from Love Blooms.

Here is the final sketch. Be sure play along, link up and tell Jen what a great run her sketch challenge has been.

 Thanks, Jen.....That was Awesome! I had tons of fun.

Curtain Call-Flip Flop Inspiration Challenge

So I went with a soft and pretty watercolor background. I used acetate, distress inks, and the smooshing technique to achieve my look. I then couldn't resist this awesome pineapple from Reverse Confetti, the "beach, please" sentiment was perfect for this challenge. I used Hero Arts Ombre' inks to ink up the Pineapples Aplenty stamp and then used the matching dies to cut it out. A touch of twine and scattering of sequins finished this off.

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
