Ok, first up from me is a simple design but it packs a punch of awesomeness. I used the beautiful large floral stamp called Rosa Eden Roses. I stamped it in Versamark ink and then used the stunning Oasis Embossing Powder to really make a statement.

Here is a look  at the shimmery goodness from the Oasis Embossing powder

I added a sentiment in the upper corner from Good Vibes. I masked part of the stamp off and only used part of it. I embossed it with the Platinum Embossing powder and I love it.

I had a ton of fun creating this next card. It's bright and fun and sure to make anyone smile. I started with Sunbeam Stencil and some embossing powders. I carefully blended in the colors with the Life Changing Blending Brushes to make the sunshine in the background.

I used the Metallic Platinum embossing powder to do up the Leave as a Friend stamp set. I love embossing images when I plan to watercolor them. I used a paint brush and some liquid water colors to create the rainbow neighborhood. The embossed edges help hold in the color and keep the colors from running together. I added the sentiment from the same Leave as a Friend stamp set and matching Metallic Platinum embossing powder to a strip of vellum card stock. I didn't want to hide any of the beautiful neighborhood stamp and vellum is a great way to do it.

Let  me just say. Not all embossing powders are the same. These Wow! embossing powders are just that. WOW! I love how they melt and the colors and the WOW! factor they add to any project.

Inspired By-Centerpiece

Hello, it's Thursday and that means it's time for another beautiful
Below is is the inspiration photo, a beautiful yellow and orange centerpiece.

I inked up some pretty flowers and leaves from the newly released Bold Blooms. I used Bumblebee and Tangerine inks and sometimes did not clean off my stamp in between to change up the tone of the colors.

I then used the Bold Blooms confetti Cuts to cut them out. I added them along the bottom of a Lacey Scallop Rectangle in a pretty bouquet.

I decided on an encouraging sentiment from the Sentimental Sayings stamp set in Midnight ink. It's all mounted on to a Buttercup card base.

I used Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, and Squeezed Lemonade.

I added some sequins  to the pink  center and then stamped the sentiment from Ways to Say Get Well along the bottom in Instense Black ink. I added a layer of Flamingo cardstock  behind the main image panel.

Inspired By-S'more fun

I am so super excited to announce that I have joined the design team for the   Inspired By Challenge.

Have you seen it? It's a fabulous inspiration challenge created by laurel Seabrook. We post weekly and it's another great way to get crafty. You can create any paper crafting project that inspired you from the photo. Here's how I was inspired this week.

I pulled out the awesome set from Reverse Confetti called Greatest Adventure. It had a campfire building scene so I went for it. I colored up the woodland critters and gave them each a marshmallow stick and cut them outwith the matching Greatest Adventure Confetti Cuts. (Links are listed below in Linkdeli).

I added them to the Grid Stitched Tag Confetti Cuts. For my background I stuck with the red & white paper but decided on stripes instead of plaid. I added in a Sand border from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts.

Here is the inspiration photo for this week's challenge.
Come play along, you can create any paper crafting project just use the photo below for your inspiration.

Color Throwdown 552- Welcome Little One

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara our hostess. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: pink, gray, white, and silver you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD552and please use #ctd552 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

Lucky me, I had a baby girl card I needed to make and these colors were perfect for this sweet little ellie from Reverse Confetti (links below in linkdeli list. Thanks for shopping from my affiliate links, they are a courtesy to you, at no extra cost and helps me keep some of my stamping supplies stocked).  The elephant is from the the Party Animals stamp set. I I added the star balloon and used the coordinating Party Animal Confetti Cuts to cut it out.

How about that polka dotted background? I used the new Bubbles Confetti Cut and used the negative pieces for my background. I blended on some Distress oxide inks (picked Raspberry, spun sugar, festive berries, and Pumice Stone) with a Life Changing Blending Brush and then I glued the dots into place by using the positive piece as a guide for where to adhere them. Perfect spacing and so cute

The sentiment is from Bear Hugs stamp set and I stamped it with Midnight ink onto a striped pattern from Free Spirit pattern paper pad. I finished the card off with a scattering of sequins.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

Picket Fence Studios July Release

woohooo! so excited for the July Release from Picket Fence Studios. It is LIVE!!!  As always there is a great mix of products, something for everyone. You can shop the New Release HERE

I just have to start with THIS pup....look I created a sweet little Golden Retriever. The set is called Grace Pup and it has the most perfect sentiment included. It was also perfect timing because we just got back from vacation and are blessed to have dog sitter (also a house sitter) come to our house and care for our fur babies. Having them at home alleviates all kinds of stress for the dogs, and for us humans.

I stamped the sweet pup with Intense Black ink and then colored him up with my Copics. Look at that face. I swear Goldens are always smiling. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner. I can't wait to send this one off to our girl.

I also love the newest image in the selfie line-up. This one is called A Pricking Break

I love that there are matching dies and that the arms actually cut out separately, so you can position them in different positions. Check out my background. Pretty cool, huh? It's a new awesome stencil, and it's called Fairy Wings. I kept is light and simple and with a Life Changing Blending Brush I added some Squeezed Lemonade Distress oxide. I stamped the sentiment with intense black ink along the bottom. Simple and sweet.

I can't wait to see what you all purchase and I really can't wait to see what you all create with your new goodies. Have fun shopping and be sure to check out what the rest of the team has created for this release. You can follow us all on Instagram or find us on the Picket Fence Studios Blog.

Reverse Confetti Release Day

It's here, it's here....the May Release from Reverse Confetti is LIVE! I'm so excited to see you all get these awesome products into your hands.

I adore this turtle and all the other adorable ocean critters from the new set let's Shellabrate. I focused on the adorable turtle from the set. I colored him up with Copics and then added some of the great bits and pieces to create a sandy scene. I cut out the images with the Let's Shellabrate Confetti Cuts

I love to frame up scenes on my cards so I used the Lacy Scallops Circle Confetti cuts to do just that. I cut some Sand card stock for the bottom half to make a sandy beach. I then blended on some Baby blue ink to the top half of the circle to make my sky.

I curved up the sentiment to the top of the circle in Navy ink. I used the pretty polka dotted paper from the Sun & Sea paper pad.

It's blog hop time. Come follow me.

. . . . .

Today's sets are lovely and work so great together or alone. They are called Bold Blooms and Sentimental Sayings. I think they will be a fan favorite for sure. I used a handful of RC inks (Pistachio, iced aqua, Lagoon, Bumblebee, Coral, Peach, Piggy Bank and Lime green) to create the Bold Blooms and then used the coordinating Bold Blooms Confetti Cuts to cut them out. I clustered them together and then I used some Press & Seal to pick up the bouquet I created so I could flip it over and glue the pieces together.

Check out the background. I used the new Bubbles Confetti Cut to create a stencil, and I used a Life changing Blending brush to add a pretty design to the background. I love the softness of the Buttercup ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Lagoon ink. Isn't the mix of fonts in the Sentimental Sayings stamp set. Here is a close up of the dimension of the bouquet.

I used the Sentimental Sayings again on this next card with a handful of new Confetti Cuts. There are some great ones. The Circle of Hearts Confetti Cuts was cut from Mist card stock. I created a fun interactive card with the Fold Over Confetti Cuts. I used the pretty flowers from Butterfly Blooms (peeked on the first day) to decorate the flap of the tag.

I did some tone of tone stamping with Stone ink on Stone Card stock and then stamped a Sentimental Sayings greeting in Midnight ink. I tied on a natural twine bow.

Here is a list of team members sharing projects today!

See you back here tomorrow for Release Day!
