Colour Q #280 {I'd Pick You}

I loved the gorgeous rich colors from this week's Colour Q challenge. I wasn't sure about the gold, gold always scares me, but it really made this card shine!  I pulled out the beautiful Love Blooms by Reverse Confetti.

I used the new MFT colors, Ripe Raspberry, Wild Wisteria, and Pure Plum. I stamped the Love Blooms flowers in the pretty colors and then used the coordinating Love Blooms Confetti Cut dies to cut them out. I used gold cardstock to cut out the leaves.

The main image panel was cut with the Documented die and I stamped whole Lotta  Dots in wisteria and the sentiment from the Love Blooms set in Plum. I also accented it with a few mini scallops from Double Edge Scallop die

Here is the challenge graphic. Come check it out.

Hope you're having a great day! We had another snow day today, so we are trying to stay warm! Happy Wednesday!

Reverse Confetti Feb. Color Challenge {Friends Like you}

*** Please Scroll Down for my Sweet Sunday Sketch Card**

It's the middle of the month, so that means it's time for another Reverse Confetti Color Challenge. I think you're going to love it. I do. I colored up Freida Fox for my card today. I love coloring her grey, so I did to fit the challenge this month.

I stamped her on x-press blending cardstock with Tuxedo Black Momento ink (my go to ink for Copic coloring).

 I used lots of blues to color up her dress, playing up the light blue from the challenge.  I decided to only use the top  part of her and tucked her behind the strip along the bottom.

I used the scalloped frame from Love Note to stamp my sentiment. Check it!

 I stamped it in Sweet tooth Pigment ink and embossed it with white embossing powder to really make it stand out on the grey cs. I also decided to add a row of chevrons with one of the small border stamps from Paper Crane.

A trio of buttons and a giant hemp twine bow finished this pretty friend card. I'm sending this one out to a dear friend, Just Because.

Here is the color challenge graphic:

Deconstruced Sketch 133 {my friend Freida}

I still can't help but smile everytime I see this sweet stamp. Meet Freida Fox. She's the first image in the new Quirky Cuties line of stamps by Reverse Confetti. She's brand spankin' new.

Heather messaged me on my way home from work and wanted to work a challenge together. It's fun (and motivational) to have a friend to stamp with. We decided on the Deconstructed Sketch. You know me.....it's always a go-to sketch for me.

I colored up Freida, making her a grey fox this go round and pieced up her dress. I also decided to leave off her glasses. I used the pretty Bundled Up papers for my color scheme.

In place of the bow, I opted for two pretty buttons. I have a weakness for those embellishments.

I also decided to use some of the new Confetti Cut dies. I added Freida to a scalloped frame from the Love Notes set and stamped the sentiments (I chopped it up, to make it fit the larger heart) onto the hearts from the same die set. Some Stickles glitter and a trio of enambel dots help add a bit more fun to this card.

Check out what Heather did. It's A-dorable!

here is the current Sketch I used. Link it up HERE.

Have a fantastic weekend (as the Incredible Mr. Fox, might say).
