Merry & Bright

Darn! I missed the CAS(E) This Sketch this week. I have been trying to get this card made for days now and finally found a few minutes this afternoon to create. I started  with some clear embossed polka dots with Whole Lotta Dots. Then I created a distress ink, smooshed background with Cracked Pistachio and Festive Berries inks. I love how the polka dots pop from the watercolored background.

I LOVE the Winter Words dies and Winter Words Coordinates stamps. Seriously, a must have! There are so many possibilities  for holiday sentiments and I just can't get enough of mixing and matching die cut words with stamped words.

I scattered some sequin silver stars and clear sequins for a touch of sparkle! Have a great end to the work week! See you back here soon!

Sweet Sunday Sketch-Merry

Hello my friends! So glad you popped in here today. I am starting to get into the holiday card making mode and thanks to beautiful new products to play with, this task is just a little easier. Oh, yeah, and there is a new Sweet Sunday Sketch to kick start my mojo! I flipped this week's sketch and used some Taylored Expressions product to create this week's card.

I used the Stitched Circle Stacklets for my circle and added in a die cut Eventful-Night Before Christmas. OMG!!! This die is soooo fabulous! My favorite part is the yellow square and rectangle pieces included to line behind the windows. So easy and quick! The sentiment is from Peek-a-boo Christmas. The embossed snowfall dots are an embossing folder-Snowfall!

Here is the sketch for you to create with!
I loved it. As you can see I flipped it! Looks great both ways!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a beautiful day!

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

You have until October 25th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!

myblessedlife.net

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

I used the current Mojo Monday Challenge for my card design and layered on lots of Reverse Confetti pretties. The Thanks Tag is my favorite! I ran the kraft rectangle through my machine with the Woodgrain die for an extra touch of detail.

Then I cut out a pumpkin from Pumpkin Patch Confetti Cuts, tucked in some of the Leafy dies and layered up three  Hello Confetti Cuts. Here is a closer look at the detail.

Hop on over to the Curtain Call Blog for more inspiration
and all the challenge info! Looking forward to seeing your creations.

Sweet Sunday Sketch 291-Leaf Love

Hello friends. So glad you have stopped by today. It's time for a new sketch with Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. This week I have chose my new favorite leaf dies from Lil' Inker Designs. OMG! These Leaf Love Dies are gorgeous and so fun to work with.  I cut three of them and then used the coordinating stamp set, Leafy Greeting to add a sentiment to one of the leaves.

Following the sketch I tucked in a kraft colored flag from Flags & Tags. The main image panel was cut with the Side Stitched Rectangles. Here is a close up of the leaf detail.

Take a look at the sketch. We hope you come play along.

Curtain Call-Pretty Pumpkins

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

The LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

Here is my card for this week's challenge. I love the new Pumpkin Patch stamps from Reverse Confetti. I stamped one of the pumpkins and all the bits and parts, and then used the coordinating Pumpkin Patch Confetti Cuts to cut them out, plus another pumpkin from designer paper.

I used the rounded die from Tagged Tote for my image panel. I was inspired by the pretty patterns in the inspiration photo and used three different patterns from the Cedar Lane 6x6 paper pack

Make sure you visit each of the designers' blogs for more inspiration!
