Inspired By-hot chocolate/Lil' Inker Designs

I know, I know, it has been awhile since I joined the team for the Inspired by Challenge, but I am back at it this new year. I pulled out some of my supplies from my stash. This is my favorite die and a fabulous way to gift a gift card, it's an older die from Lil' Inker Designs and I believe it may be sold out. There is a HUGE sale happening on everything in their store. check it out. Lots of good stuff there. You could use any other coffee themed die, there are lots out there on the market. Hey,  you may even have one in your stash. I was inspired by the mitten and their cuff. So I added a band around the cup with Sand card stock stamped with a Buffalo plaid stamp.

I added some stitched mitten dies for a touch of winter and added a sentiment with white emobssing powder onto a black strip. I tied it all up with some hemp twine.

Sending you warm cozy thoughts. Go check out the challenge this week.
Hugs, Lisa

Inspired By: Christmas Hoops

Hello and happy Thursday! A new Inspired By challenge went live today and I am sharing my card here. Check out the inspiration photo, and my card that follows.

 No photo description available.

I used the Vintage Christmas Wreath stamp set from Lil' Inker Designs to stamp onto some Sand card stock. I added color with my PolyChromos colored pencils  and then used the matching Vintage Christmas Wreath die to cut it out. I created the circle with the  Stitched Circle  dies

I added the gorgeous giant Season's Greetings Word die to finish off the card. I cut a rectangle with the  Stitched mats Rectangle dies and mounted it onto a Sand card base.

Thanks for stopping by today. You can check out more inspiration for the
Inspired by Challenge over on the Blog.

Inspired By-pumpkins

Plaid and pumpkins. What could be better? I reached for some Lil' Inker Designs products to pull together a quick, fall card. I am still crushing on The Stamp Market inks and look how cool the Melon ink looks on kraft card stock. I inked up the Cozy Plaid stamp from Lil' Inker Designs. I cut the background layer with the Rounded Stitched Rectangles

I LOVE the Harvest Moon die and it was perfect for my pumpkin scene. I used my Life Changing Blender brushes to blend on some Melon, Cherry, and Leafy inks to add some color to the pumpkins. I stamped a sentiment from Cozy Plaid stamp set and then finished the sentiment with the Hugs Word Die

I added a touch of shimmer with a Wink of Stella pen and tied on some hemp twine to finish it off.  Check out the Inspired By challenge for more inspiration.

I had fun creating a monster party for you today. The stamps are from the Monsters Ink stamp set (pssst.....I hear supplies are limited on this one, so grab it quick if you want them). I did some clear embossing in the background with the eye ball images on Midnight card stock.   I colored up the monster trio with Copics and then added some googlie eyes to them. I cut them out with the matching Monster Ink dies.

That sentiment is the brand new Large Spooky Word dies and it's perfect for an A2 card front. It's awesome that there are two size versions of this word die. A girls gotta have option.  I added the word "hugs" to finish off my greeting.

Lil' Inker Designs September Release/ Day 1

We are squeezing in a spooktacular release from Lil' Inker Designs, just in time for the Halloween festivities. SO I just HAD to  use the new and improved Bats & Broom Sticks Die. It used to be a solid die that was not the easiest to line up. With the new improvements on dies over the years and the outline images now available this is a no-brainer improvement! I love how easy and fast these new dies are to cut the stamped images.

I stamped the awesome witch image from Bats & Broomsticks in black ink and then cut it out with the Dies. The other showstopper on this card is that Spooky Script word die! OMG. it's my new favorite. I completed the sentiment with the help of a few stamps from the Boo Faces 2 stamp set. Before I assembled the stamps and dies onto the card front, I created an ink blended background and cut it with the Silly Stitched Rectangle Die

My next card is showcasing some previously released stamps and dies. It was so fun to create new with the old. I combined the Boo Faces stamp set and Pumpkin Faces dies for my card. I used the dies to cut out the eyes on the Ghost Border die

I stamped the sentiment "hey Ghoulfriend" from the Boo Faces stamp set and then added in the Boo! Word die

Inspired By: signs of fall/ Lil' Inker Designs

Acorns... I'm a sucker for them so you can bet that every fall, there will most likely be an inspiration photo using acorns. Of course you don't have to include them in your project. How does this inspire you? acorns? fall? leaf? colors? trio?

I LOVE the mix of blue and gold (yes, I am a Michigan girl) and the texture from the acorns. The beautiful Reap a Harvest stamp set and Reap a Harvest Dies (it looks like it is out of stock, the dies are there tho. You could easily re-create this card with the Fall Foliage stamp set) was the stamp set I reached for from my stash.

I stamped the outline images in Navy ink onto a piece of Premium Polar White card stock cut with the Silly Stitched dies and gave a splattering of golds and yellows to the background. I then embossed the acorns, hard to capture the shimmer in the photo, with some copper WOW embossing powder. I used Copic markers to color up the long leaf images and added the sentiment in Navy ink onto a strip of Mist card stock. To complete card front, I tucked in some copper cord behind my main images and added the finished panel to the top of some kraft card stock cut with the Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up

Color Throwdown 557/ Lil' Inker Designs/ Thankful Bunch

Hi, everyone!   It's Lori's turn as hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge.  The colors from this week's inspiration photo are purple, blue, turquoise, and yellow.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals along with the challenge colors.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD557 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd557and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.  One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I pulled out one of my favorite Lil' inker Designs stamp set called Fall Foliage. I just love the blooms included and I used the color combo for this week to create a customized bouquet with RC inks-Buttercup, Wisteria, Iced Aqua, and Island Blue. After I stamped the leaves and flowers, I used the coordinating Fall Foliage Dies to cut them out.

I framed it up with come Iced Aqua card stock cut with the Dual Stitched Rectangles Dies. I stamped the sentiment in Island Blue ink along the bottom. This is a  square card measuring 4.25 x 4.25, and I love that it will still fit into a standard A2 sized envelope.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!

Lil' Inker Designs/ June Release/ Day 3

We are still celebrating.  It's  Day 3 of the  Lil' Inker Designs June Release and there are more fun and fabulous stamps and dies just for you! I love it all, and you will too! If you missed the kick off, we started the party two days ago. Go ahead and check that out, too.

Oh, wait....before I dive in, you can find all the release details over on Laura's Blog. check it out! You can find the shopping link HERE....but you'll want to wait to see what the team has to share. It's soooo good, trust me.

Don't forget....you can WIN IT ALL!

I wanted to show you all that the Cake Party  stamps can be used for all kinds of occasions. That's the beauty of all the bits and pieces being separate, so you can customize your card easily. I used my Zigs to water color the sweet lil lion and added some balloons. I then used the matching Cake Party dies to cut him out.

I then grabbed an Iced Aqua card base and stamped one of the gorgeous new Hand drawn Thankfulness. Oh, the font of this set....it's so pretty! I heat embossed with some white embossing powder. I love how it pops against the aqua card stock. I then used some Sand card stock and  framed it up with a giant circle from  Stitched Mats-circles dies. I finished it off with a scattering of wood veneer stars to match the stars on the balloons.

Today I have a second card to share. I went with a tone on tone card and I wanted to showcase that fun cake design from the Cake Party stamp set. I stamped it in Coral ink onto a 4.25 square panel and then framed it up with the Stitched Mats-Squares in Piggy Bank card stock.

The sentiment is a stand out with the giant scripty font.I have been dying for a word die like this for birthdays. Happy Birthday To You.  I cut three layers of it and glued them together to create some dimension. Here is a closer look at the thickness.

And one more detail shot of the finished card. It's so pretty and girly and I know just who I am sending this to.

All you have to do is leave comments along your way  today and every day, as you hop.  We'll pick one winner from a DT Member's blog. You have until July 3, 11:30pm EST to leave your comments.
