I stamped the image onto kraft cs and

then colored it in with some copic markers.

I simply used my paper snips to 

cut it out.

I used a variety of sizes

of my Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics

to cut some pretty flags. 

An insulation pink button finished it off.

I used all of the sentiment's included in this week's 

{all about Dad}

in MFT Berrylicious, Steel Blue, and Factory Green inks.

 Feather's are HOT right now. 

I cut two from the MFT Feather's and Arrows Die-namcis 

and used them to embellish my card. 

A quick fishtail flag from Blueprints2 Die-namics and

I had card no. 2 done.

Unity and some Friends With Flair

ACK!!!! I've been trying to post this ALL day! Busy day and s.l.o.w. internet connection do not make for fast blogging! BUT HERE it is. 
Today is a GREAT day! I slept in, kiddos are off of school, I got a HAPPY email with some good news, and I'm heading out the door for my first facial with a dear friend!  


I'll continue the goodness and share a little Unity today.  We posted the new monthly theme challenge.  You can check it out here! Play along, use the theme, and you could WIN some Unity!
This month were asked to Use Hearts but NO red or pink! Love and hearts aren't just for Valentine's Day, you know.


I've got two to share. I am having sooo much fun with my new Unity stamps. You can check out all the new CHA Release stamps HERE. I used Everything in Love for this one. I also added in some text stamp  (she art print texture)from the new Christy Tomlison are sooooo fabulous. I love them all, want them all....how about you? What are your faves???



I also used this past week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge.  I love a great sketch, and Danielle came up with this beauty! The pretty oval is the Open Scallop Oval Die-namics by MFT.

This one uses Love is the Tie.....ahhhhh! I love this and would love to blow it up and put it on my wall. It just makes my heart smile! The Authentique stamps are AWESOME!!!!

I have a Unity card, just because, today! How about THAT!!! I inked up a few images from the Jan. 2012 KOM and paired with this week's SCS sketch challenge. I actually made it on Wednesday, but needed a few days to find some time to post. Plus, I wanted to share it on today's FWF post over on the Unity Blog.

I do love this day....remember when it used to be called Hip Hop Hangover??? That seems forever ago.  I think it's great that on Friday's we have our own little space to share our love of Unity....just because!

For my card I used the Oct. Afternoon, Farmhouse papers.  I added some texture with some cotton twill tape and I pieced up the sweet birdies on the sentiment oval. Everything is edged with some tea dye ink!

Here's a close up of the stamp and the fun banner strips I made (Mix&Match Banner by MFT.  I used my trick to make them longer).

I love my dies!!!

I used the new

WinterPeace Love and Joy

I die cut a chipboard snowflake.

I die cut another one out of shimmery white cardstock.

Then I stamped the gorgeous snowflake on the shimmery white paper

Adhered it to the chipboard one.

Added the sentiment tag, some ribbon, and some cool jingle bells!

A bit of stickles and this was DONE.
