  • The MFT release is on May 3 at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available on May 3 at 10 PM EST.

Okay, now that the formalities are out of the are the sets you'll be drooling over today, Jolinne - Perfect Harmony, Clearly Sentimental about Success, Notched Tag stamp set. Love them all, but I am sooooo giddy about the notched tag set and matching die-namics. WOW! It is just so cool and you'll be seeing me use it all throughout this release. I'm a sucker for tags, what can I say!  Here I'll show you what it looks like. You might want to sit down for this one, it's THAT cool!Isn't it just the cutest???
There is a tag and those teeny tiny little shapes that fit on the tag, and all those fabulous matching stamps. Yep, Love it! Do you see....another beautiful butterfly die. It looks great stacked with the larger ones. Just sayin'!

Here, I used the darling onesie die, to make this sweet lil' baby card today.
You'll also spy two other new die-namics here-
the beautiful stacked open scallops

and scalloped ribbon.
and I snuck in a Simply Scallop border along the bottom, too. Combining all the different die-namic borders is sure fun, easy, and a fast way to make a unique card.

Before I go, I'll give you one last look at this set.  There are so many cute ways to stack it up and change it up for your card making needs.
Alright, off you go. Kim's Blog has the teaser line up for today. Happy Hopping!

Here are the names of the 3 sets we are showing off today: Flapper Doodles - SS Flapper, Well-Worn Greetings, Fred Bear Plays Indian.  It's a great mix of fun, cuteness, shabby chic, and die-namics!

Today, I used the amazing new Well Worn Greeting set and matching die-namics. This set is HUGE, yes, H-U-G-E!!! and the die-namics to go with is are fabulous shapes.

I'm getting a jump on my Father's Day card and the Hero sentiment included in the stamp set was perfect. I paired it with the new Type Writer alphabet that was released last month to make it just for DAD!
See that paper??? Fair warning....I used it A LOT this release. It's the Lilly Bee designs, Picket Fences that was part of the VIP kit from the other week. WOW! Love it! You also see I used the open zig zag die-namic, it's a perfect border for any masculine card. The stamped stars are from the Well Worn Greetings set and I used all three layers of the die-namic, along with the distress oval border and the fun denim background stamp....all included! MFT card stock used here-whip cream, hot fudge, and fossil!

MFT WSC17...Perk Up

Another week, another this. Have you  been playing along? You have a chance to win some MFT $$ just by using the sketch.
This week I pulled out the Like You A Latte à la mode. She was the perfect size for that skinny panel. Some Sno Cone cs, cappunino twine, a Pretty Posey die-namic flower and this card was quick to come together.
Oh, wait, I almost forgot, the cute shape for the sentiment. It is the Textile Rectangle Label die-namic. It's such a great size and I love using only half of the labels to show of a sentiment.

Kim's Blog has the full line up from the Challenge Team and the participating DT member. Check it out. You can also join in on some chit chat over in the MFT Forum on SCS.   It's almost Teaser Time!!!!!

Ippity Final Twist....

Good morning. I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful weekend.  We are soaking wet here in Cinci....rain, rain, go a way. I think we're going to need a boat to navigate around here, soon. I am in desperate need of some sunshine! Weather aside....we had a wonderful extra long weekend as we left town for a few days to take the boys to Mammoth Caves. WOW! What a wonderful sight.

I got a little blogging and crafting break and now I'm ready to jump back in. I've got plans to create some stuff today.  Now I'm kicking the day off with the {ippity} Final Twist Challenge for April. You have one more week to get your cards uploaded to SCS with keywords: ippity and IHHTC4, to be entered in the GRAND PRIZE could win a prize package of $70  worth of Unity product!

This week's challenge is NO SENTIMENTS! It's a great way to focus on all the beautiful images {ippity} carries AND finishing off the inside of the card is a great place to tuck your words.

On my card, I chose to show off the beautiful flower from You Deserve and accented with some beautiful buttons. I stamped the full, flower duo in both Hawaiian Shore and Simply Chartruse onto the polka dotted layer. Then I stamped it again in white ink on th purple cardstock, embossed it with clear embossing powder, cut it out and popped it up!
Thanks for stopping by!
Stephanie is up next.

Christian Paper Crafts....Blog Hop...Moms and Friends

Happy is the monthly blog hop for Christian Paper Crafts. It's also FWF day and since I used Unity on my card, I'd thought I'd throw that in here too.  You can read all about the details on the hop and how you can take part in it, HERE!  You can even grab your own blinky to put on your blog.
The CPC Design Team Delights theme this month is Mom's Day and Friendship.  I'm happy to call my mom my friend. I love my mom...she's always there for me.
I finally inked up this fabulous Unity Suzi-Blu Co-Brand stamp.....You Are Loved.
I pieced her up with some lovely Bella Blvd. papers and colored her up with Copics. A touch of stickles glitter finishes off her pretty flowers.
Thank for stopping by and I hope you'll join the CPC Blog Hop.

Hip Hoppin' on a Thursday!

Always love Thursdays and they're even better now that I am back on with the Hip Hop and Unity stamps!  Since our team is so large now, we thought we'd break up the Thursday line up  a bit to help stream line the blog hop. So each week, you'll only be seeing half of the team, making it a bit more managable for you all.

I recently got my hands on the Store Kit, The Right Words.  Check out your favorite online store or LSS to see if they are carrying this set by Unity.   In true Unity style, you'll find a whole set full of beautiful quotes.

I've been loving the purple grey color combo lately, and used some Picket Fences dp by Lily Bee designs. A few die-namics (high tea doily, simply scallops, and textile rectangle die-namics) to make it all complete.
Short and sweet today.

Off you go, Maria is next.

I'm back with this week's Wed. Stamp Club card. We are into week 16 and I've managed to play along every week so far.  Big pat on my back! LOL! It's easy to do, with so many great MFT stamp sets I LOVE and the Fabulous sketches to work with, it really is a great reason to stamp. Plus, you have a chance each week to win some MFT dollars! Here's the sketch for this week.
And here's what I did with it.

I still love those For the Record papers by Echo Park and they were a great fit for the Own your Story set and the Four Point die-namic. I also decided to use my fave Open Scallop doily for the circle layer. And I almost forgot, you'll spy a little Medium Simply Scallop on this card, too!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you feel inspired to play this week. Kim's got the line up for more inspiration with the sketch from the Challenge Team and the DT members that are playing along.

Happy Birthday Eva H{ippity} Hop!

Second Post for today....scroll down for my MFT TEASER post!

We love to celebrate around here....and what better reason to celebrate
than our own dear sweet Eva's Birthday!
The DT decided to make a special card for Eva today. I  am always in awe of this woman's talents....her work is amazing and I think SHE is amazing. I used this week's Ippity Twist Challenge inspiration to make my Eva Birthday Card!
LOOOVE those beautiful umbrellas which called for me to use the rosettes die-namic. I also loved the banners hanging in the photo so I made some of mine ippity style thanks to Party Hat Wishes.  Then of course the whole color scheme in the inspiration photo pulled the card together for me.

Come play along. Please use keywords: ippity, and IHHTC4 to be entered in the drawing for our FABULOUS prize package worth over $70 of Unity product!
Make sure you stop by Eva's blog to say Happy Birthday,
then find your way back to the ippity blog to see the rest of the ippity inspiration line up!

MFT....à la mode Teaser Time!

It's almost time for our mid-month release with My Favorite Things! A new VIP kit and 2 new à la modes will be available for purchase at 10 pm on April 19th. Today we're sharing peeks of the super cute Dream Big à la mode. You'll love can you NOT!
I stamped her on x-press blending cs, colored with copics and cut her out using the "out of box" technique.  I kept her very simple, since I used the large 3/8 rosette die-namic and some stars from the stacking stars die-namic.  I felt if I added anything more to the front of this card, it may be too overwhelming.  Some pretty gingham ribbon and de-lish lilac twine finished her off.
Well.....almost. I had to get one of the fabby sentiments in, on this card somewhere. Look inside, it coordinates. I stamped it out one the layered label and sweet stack die-namics (love how you can mix and match most of the label dies MFT carries). A few more stars and this one is done!

Kim's Blog has the full teaser line up for today's posts. I can't wait to see what the DT has done with this cutie!
