MFT Teaser Day 1!

It's that wonderful time of the month, again. We'll be ringing in the New Year with 5 days of MFT sneak peaks and then the Big Release on Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 10 pm! Hold on to your hats....you're in for a fun couple days. I sure hope you got some Holiday Cash to spend!

Before we get started here are a few details you'll want to take note of:

  • The MFT release is on Jan. 4th at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available on Jan. 4 at 10 PM EST.
  • The guest designer contest is ON! Check out the forum for details on how YOU can win over $100 in stamp sets and play along with the DT for a month.
  • If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to Kim's blog. If you're used to checking Kim's blog at 11 am, we've decided to change things up a bit. NOW our POST are live at MIDNIGHT!
  • Be sure to leave comments as you go. 2 winners will be chosen each day from 2 different secret prize blogs to win one of the new sets. Check Kim's blog every day to see if you are a winner.

Today we get to start things off with 2 new sentiment sets you'll HAVE to have! First up is called, More Essential Sentiments! This one is jammed packed with super fun, and hip sentiments that a lot of us use daily! The other GREAT thing about this set.....it's designed to work beautifully with the new Layered Labels Die-namics dies (if you ordered the VIP kit, you already have these.....if not, then make sure you pop them in your cart on the 4th!).
I made two fun, polka dotted cuties with the dies and sentiments. Other MFT products include:

small open scalloped die-namic
hearts a plenty die-namics
perfect plaid ribbon
Sweet Thing glitzy glitter

Flower Silhouette stamp and die duo (looks like it's currently out of stock, but no worries....Kim will have it back real soon!).

And now I've got a round card showing off the new Clearly Sentimental about Time set. While I'm loving the beautiful quotes from this set, I can't stop drooling over these newest die-namics!

Dainty Doily Die AND Mini Rolled Rose die-namics! Squeal!!!! Yep! There are now 2 new mini sizes of the rolled roses. If you love the original you're gonna FLIP for these-they are just the cutest ever! I used both sizes on this card.

Final Hip Hop of 2010!

I hope you are all enjoying the end of 2010! It sure has been a great year for me, especially in this crazy crafty world! I've loved every minute of it and have been so blessed to have had so many opporunities come my way this year. I just know 2011 will be even BETTER!
It's our last Hip Hop of the year and I thought it would be fun to look back at some of my FAVE {ippity} creations. I love these stamps and know you do to. I can't wait to see what's to come! I just love what {ippity} is and does.
So here it goes....a walk down memory lane from my 2010 {ippity} creations:
Here's the planner I altered last year and used daily throughout all of 2010. I need to make myself a new one. I sure will miss this. I uses my FAVE sentiment-You are Right Where You Should be. Great words to live by!

Beautiful butterflies paired with a beautiful sentiment from What Matters Most! Love those papers, too!

You know my love affair with kraft. I created this card using the Now & Always set from the Spring 2010 release.

My second month on the Dirty Dozen was when I made this fabulous framed piece for my craft room. It matches the blog banner I had Heather make for me. I STILL love this! It uses the flowers from the Now & Always set.

I think I could go on listing lots more {ippity} creations, but I know there is LOTS to see on the hip hop, so I'll leave you with my ALL TIME fave layout! I was honored when Eryn asked me to send it to Unity so they could display it at CHA in Chicago this summer!A moment in Time is the set I used here and the Fly a Kite papers have to be my FAVE paper line from 2010.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the day and head on over to Maria's blog!

A Cuppa Love!

How about a sweet cuppa love??? I used this sketch from the last TCP Tuesday Challenge of the year.
I just adore this little PJ bear from the set, A Cuppa. I added the heart tea bag to the cup and some hearts (from an MFT set) to the steam to create this warm cuppa love. I used my MFT Banner Day alpha to add the word love. Sorry for the dark photo, but it's cloudy and cold here lately and I didn't want to wait any longer to post this. It's hard to see, but the kraft layer is embossed with a polka dot pattern. Looks cute IRL. Thanks for stopping by!

H{ippity} Hop!

Hello and welcome! I hope you all survived AND enjoyed the holiday festivities this weekend. I sure did. It's always wonderful to re-live the Christmas excitement through the kids each year. My oldest was the most excited about the anticipation of Santa, he couldn't fall asleep AND he was up at 5 AM! Needless to say, I sent him back to bed until 7 (he didn't sleep, though). My middle guy was the most animated while opening his gifts-jumping up and down and screaming, "YES!" with every one. The littlest couldn't open his fast enough. It sure was fun and magical!
Here we are back with our Monday addition of {ippity}'s H{ippity} Hop. We are ringing in the New Year with this week's challenge. My project is a bit of a stretch to the theme, but I'm making it work. The day after Christmas is my MIL's birthday, so I made her this super cute box to put her gift card in (we also got her a book). Here's where the theme comes in.....we are celebrating another fabulous year of her life, ringing in another one!
This box was really easy to make thanks to my dear, thoughtful, crafty friend Crystal! She surprised me with a MS Scoring Board. The instructions were included and the box came together so fast! Thanks, girl!
Remember this card????
I made the box to match and gave her both. She loved it!
Do you have this set, Party Hat Wishes? It's a wonderful, fun and whimsical set. I think you need it! Find an {ippity} Chick in your area and get a jump on some birthday cards! Now head on over to the {ippity} blog to see the full line up of hoppers today! Stop and leave them some love.

Hip Hop Before Christmas!

Nothing like a little hip Hop fun amongst all the last minute holiday planning! Sometimes it's just what you need....a little break. So much for my blogging break, lol! Here I am and I got crafty with a scrapbook page with pics from 2008! I used some old and new {ippity} stamps! Love that and I seriously forgot how cute this alphabet was....or should I say, how adorable it is?!!! Alphabetically Adorable and Here and Now and the frame from Season of Joy all helped pull this page together. Papers and die cut stickers are all October Afternoon!
Thanks for coming by today. Maria is next.

TCP Holiday....and Thanks Snow Much!

The TCP challenge a few weeks back was to use any Holiday image from TCP to create a card. Of course the closest holiday image I have was the new Snowflake Girl. Yep, used up by sweet Holiday PJ images Becky stamped for me. So I went with this one and added her to a snowy festive Christmas tree (it's the Banner Cut Up die, turned upside down). Other TCP goodies are the Glitzy Glitter and a bit of their wood paper (see it, there as the trunk?).
This one is for all of YOU, my blogging and crafting friends. Thanks SNOW Much for visiting me and leaving me all kinds of encouraging and loving words!

So there it is, my last Holiday Card of 201o. It's been a fun season, but I am ready to move onto butterflies, flowers, and all things Spring! No worries, I'm sure there will be plenty of snowy or cold scenes to be seen, it is only December after all and here in the Mid West, we've got another good 3 months of Winter! I also think I'm taking a blogging break till sometime next week. I may pop in, but most likely NOT!

Have a wonderful Holiday, safe travels, and enjoy your time with family and friends. Many Hugs!!!!

Mondy H{ippity} Hop-Punch it Out!

Dare I ask how your Holiday to-do lists are going? lol! I hope you have most of the list completed and if not well, there's still time! I've got a few things left to do, but I'm feeling good! I'm a bit of a procrastinator, so no matter how organized I am I always seem to leave a few last minute items to finish up. The big thing for me is my cards are DONE and in the mail today. Yeah!

I made this card yesterday while I was supposed to be stamping out the last of my cards. See, told you I'm a procrastinator. hehehe! But in all fairness, I did want to play along with H{ippity} Hop today. This week's challenge is to Punch it Up! Pull out your punches and get crafty. I used my fave, heart punch by SU and one of my favorite color combos-bermuda bay, razzleberry, olive and soft suede. I used kraft as my base to keep the color light enough to write a sweet message inside.

{ippity} stamps used are: Love in Return, Dots for Sure and Bit 'O Burlap!

Come play along for a chance to win a prize. Use your {ippity} stamps and a punch or two, use keyword IHHC55 when you upload to SCS.
Head on over to the {ippity} blog to see the full line up of hoppers!

MFT and a Facebook Contest!

What a cool idea this is!!! Have you seen the buzz on Facebook, yet? As we wrap up 2010 - we're anxious to find out what products are the My Favorite Things Fan Favorites for this year. We've simply got to know what your favorite stamp set or Die-namic is from our 2010 collection! Come and comment on this thread on My Favorite Things Facebook Fan Page.
If by chance you're not already a fan, come join us and leave your comment! To help ring in the New Year, we'll be awarding one lucky commenter the ENTIRE January 2011 release!

To double the fun, invite your stamping friends to cast their votes too. Because, if your friend lists their 2010 Fan Favorite and also mentions YOU as a referral, you both have a chance to win!
One commenter, selected at random on January 2, 2010, will win the full January 2011 release. If the selected winner has listed a referring friend in their post, the friend wins a $50 voucher to the MFT Boutique. And because we don't want that gift voucher to go to waste, if no referring friend is listed, then we'll draw a second winner at random to win that $50 voucher! How fun is that? Please tell them I sent you....we both can win! and I'd be much grateful!
So, come cast your vote in our search for the My Favorite Things Fan Favorite for 2010!! One vote per person, accepted through December 31st at 11:59 pm!
Here's the latest MFT card I've whipped up for you. It uses the Mercy Sketch from this past week. I was sad to see Mercy is giving up her sketches, so I wanted to be sure to play one last time. This is from the latest MFT release and it's called Love you With all my Heart!

Look, I finally gave her some freckles. I've been dying to try this for some time on these PI cuties and I just love how she looks. I also did up the inside with matching paper and some hearts a plenty die-namics. You'll also spy the large open scallop die on the front. Thanks for stopping by. I'll have more goodies on Monday!

It's Me with some FWF....Unity Goodies.

Surprise, surprise! I made it to the Friends with Flair post with Unity today. It's been fooooor evah! I've had this super cute and super sweet Itty Bitty (A Beautiful Sight) just waiting for some ink. I turned it into a sweet tag for this pillow box (it was a gift for my Bible Study gift exchange.) I tucked a little braclet inside the box.
I just used some of my SU markers to ink this up, gave it a huff and stamped it on the kraft tag. Some twine and a button-DONE! With some the right tools and FABBY stamps you can make great little gifties in no time. This took me 8 minutes to make.

Hop on over to the Unity blog for the list of FWF Inspriation and don't forget to the check out this amazing SALE!!!
Enjoy the weekend! See you back here Monday.

Hip Hop! Cherish Your Dreams

It's another fabby Thursday morning with the {ippity} and unity DT! So glad you're here on the hop with us. I used this week's sketch to make this card. I was feeling a bit shabby chic on this one. LOVE this NEW {ippity} set, Cherish Your Dreams. I had a scrap of this ribbon sitting on my desk and I scrunched it up with score-tape and attached it to my card. I'm lovin' the pop of color it adds, not to mention the texture. Use the sketch, play along and win a prize! Use the keyword when uploading to SCS.

Not a lot of chit chat today. I feel a cold coming on, it's COLD outside (MORE SNOW!), and lots to do and see. Off you go. Maria is up next. Be sure to check out the {ippity} blog for a great tutorial and see the Unity Blog for all their specials.

MFT VIP Blog Hop! Let's Get Physical!

Happy VIP Blog Hop! So glad you are here. Hopefully you just arrived from the uber talented and dear friend of mine, Christina's blog. If not, make sure you jump all the way back to Kim's blog so you don't' miss out on any of the gorgeous eye candy with this month's WTG VIP kit.

Tonight's the night you can get the Jan. WTG, Let's Get Physical, set 3 weeks early along with some other fabulous MFT products (a new die-namics set of labels AND an exclusive one-time only mini stamp set). This kit sure makes a great last minute Christmas gift *wink* *wink*. THIS is a ONE DAY ONLY product (will be available through December 15 at 11:59 PM EST
Here's what you get with the VIP kit:

Let's Get Physical VIP Collection $41.90

  • Let's Get Physical WTG

  • Get a Move On (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)

  • Layered Label Die-namics Die Set
and here's what I did with this amazing new stamp set. I know with the new year right around the corner and all the new year resolutions everyone will be making about starting a healthier life style, this set will be a MUST have! I was a bit more "evil" so to speak with my creation....I am actually giving cookies to my friend who also kicks my BOOTY every Friday morning at her Boot Camp class. I just loved this sentiment, it was perfect with the cookie box. Just so it isn't too, tempting, I created a cute little tag that hides the opening to the cookies. It swings open on a hinge (thanks to a baby braddie, it's hidden under a star ).

The box is the way cool, Cookie Template in the MFT Boutique! Buy it tonight and play with it right away. That's the neat thing about the digi templates-instant gratification! AND there are 2 new templates JUST ADDED to the boutique. Check them out...so super cute.
For the embellies on my project, more MFT felt (love this stuff-it's so fabulous with all the die-namics if you haven't noticed.), the stars border die-namic, and the stacking stars die-namic. You'll also spy some buttons, and twill ribbon.

The mini set is pretty amazing, too! LOOKS and WORKS great with the new Layered Label die-namics included in the kit. I tell, you, I know these dies won't be far from my reach. They are fabulous on their own OR layered all up. I made 2 cute magnets with them. I figured a little motivational pep-talk on my fridge might help with late night snacking! I ran the die through my big shot with some self-adhesive magnetic sheets. Then I ran the die through again with the designer paper (Oct. Afternoon-School House) and attached that to the magnet piece. I then cut another layered label shape with MFT CORK and stamped the sentiment from the FREE MINI set that's included in tonight's VIP kit. Here's what the back of them look like with the magnet sheet. They look great on my fridge!

Off you go, you're almost done! I'm super excited to introduce our Guest Designer for Jan. Karen Motz won the Stitching Challenge during last month's release and I just know she will have some super FAB teasers for us. So, hop on over to her blog and see what greatness she has for us!
