I was inspired by The Cutting Edge Challenge. It's a new challenge blog and it's been lots of fun so far. They post an inspiration photo and you just have to use die cuts in your creation. Easy Peasy! I love my dies!
I loved all the white space and the rainbow of cut out hearts on the inspiration card (see below). I reached for the Tag Me, too Confetti cuts. It's awesome, have you seen it? The tag is super cool with the scalloped edge and I can't refuse scripty die cut words. Yep! They are included in this die set.
I cut up a rainbow of card stock strips and glued them down. Then I placed my word dies on top and ran it through my Vagabond. Then I cut the words two more times with just white card stock. I layered up the pieces and glued them together to give some depth to my words, with the rainbow colors really popping! This also gives lots of stability to the skinny words and allowing me to add the dimension I LOVE without having to cut up teeny tiny foam dots.
I also loved the white space on the card and added embossed dots in the background. The word "happy" from Celebrate Cake were stamped repeatedly across the red card stock strip. A bakers twine bow and enamel dots finished this one off.
