Picket Fence Studios/ December Release

It is December and it's the 14th, and we have the December Release to share. It's pretty amazing, as always. You are sure to find something you will love. I had so much fun creating with the new release products and can't wait to share with you. You can shop the New Release HERE
Today I have two pretty pink cake cards stamped with the Let's Decorate stamp. It's such a pretty set with all kinds of options for creating and decorating your own cake party.

My first card started with some ink blending with the Life Changing Blender Brushes and the beautiful Quatrefoil Stencil. I love the soft pretty feel of this background. I stamped the sentiment from Cheat Day.  Here is a closer look at the stencil work.

And now on to the cake details. I used my Zig water color markers to color up the cake, toppers, and jar on some water color paper. I then used the matching Let's Decorate dies to cut them out.

This time, I stamped the cake and topper from Let's Decorate on some Copic friendly paper and colored up the image with the drippy frosting with my copics and then I gave it a coating of sugary clear glitter.

I used the Let's Decorate dies. On this card, I used a sentiment from the same set. I added a strip of silver glitter paper and a strip of Piggy bank card stock.

Thanks for stopping by today. I always appreciate your sweet comments.
Cheers to wrapping up the last 10 days before Christmas. Eat cake and do some crafting.

Picket Fence Studios/ Color Throwdown/ Christmas Cookies

Hello, everyone!  Broni is our hostess for the last Color Throwdown challenge of 2019!  It’s hard to believe we’ve made it through another year already, right? We have loved having all of you play along with us this year and really hope you’ll plan on joining us in 2020 too!

Our generic colors for this week are Lime Green, Hot Pink, and White. And you can use any neutrals you want with these colors.

If you upload to a public gallery please use the keyword CTD573, and please use #ctd573 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of this post, please be sure to use a link to your specific post, not just a generic link to your blog. And remember, only paper created designs are allowed.

I was inspired by the cookies, and I love baking, I just don't always find the time. I do make some frosted Christmas Cookies each year, they are my boys favorites. Nothing fancy, cut basic cutouts and frosting with some sprinkles. The Picket Fence Studios set, Cookie or Donut? stamp set was perfect for my card today. The matching Cookie or Donut die make it quick and easy to cut my sweet paper treats out.  I used green and red inks from Reverse Confetti and added some shading with my copic markers. I even added some sugar with some clear chunky glitter.

I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to add a soft blend of Cracked Pistachio Distress ink. The large sentiment comes from the Cookie or Donut? stamp set and I turned the whole card into Christmas cookies simply by using a sentiment from The Season of Giving

Now be sure to check out the wonderful inspiration from the design team below and then get crafty!

Reverse Confetti/ December Creative Hop

Hello Fetti Friends! It's the 8th and that means it's time for our Creative Hop! We have a surprise new release for you all! and it's Snowflakes!! There is a little story behind this set and the coordinating Confetti Cuts. Check it out over on the RC Blog. The stamp set is exclusive AND had special pricing!

I had a lot of fun with this new Snowflakes stamp set and coordinating Snowflakes Confetti Cuts. My first card I did up in some silver embossing powder. I started with some ink blending with Iced Aqua and Grape Soda ink with a circle stencil. I then let the ink dry and hit it with my anti-static pouch before inking the Snowflakes up with versamark ink. I then heat embossed with Silver embossing powder.

Here's a closer look at the shimmer. swoon! I stamped the sentiment from Snowflakes in Royal Purple ink. I mounted the finished panel onto a piece of Winter Wonder 6x6 paper.

My next card I wanted to showcase the Snowflakes Confetti Cuts in a unique way. I cut a panel of Premium Polar White card stock and then cut out the snowflakes, leaving the negative spaces behind. I then carefully laid my Snowflakes stamps into the matching spaces and using my Misti, I was able to mount them in perfect position and then ink then up and stamp them into the negative space. I used Abyss, Baby Blue, Mist and Stone inks to create my snowy card front.

I stamped the sentiment in matching ink colors from the Thank You stamp set. i finished it off with some silver sequins.

I have one more treat for you today. It's a fun tag in a blue, copper, and kraft color combo. I love it. I used the new Circle Tag Confetti Cut in Navy card card stock. I stamped some Snowflakes and then embossed them in white. I then stamped one extra Snowflake, but hit it with some Copper embossing powder. I used the matching Snowflakes Confetti Cuts to cut it out. I white heat embossed a sentiment from Snowflakes on Sand card stock and then punched a hole in the upper corner so I could tie it on with some copper cord.

Here is the hop list for today!
Lots of inspiration to see and love.

Color Throwdown 572-Wishing You All the Joys

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new challenge! Barbara is here with our colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: Aqua, green, gold, and white you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well.

Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designsonly digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed. Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

If you have been around here long enough, you know I love to mix and match stamp sets, usually from the same company. I did that on today's card. I used lots of recently released goodies from Reverse Confetti. I am crushing on the  Snow Stars Cover Panel. I cut it from Avocado card stock and mounted it on a Premium Polar White card base.

I then decided to use the Square Window Tag Confetti Cuts to create the main image focal point. I framed it up in Iced Aqua card stock. I stamped the sentiment from Joys of the Season in Versamark and then heat embossed it in gold. I tied on some gold twine and finsihed it off with some colored images from Joyous Holiday stamp set. That mouse is just the sweetest!

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we can't wait to see what you come up with.

Color Throwdown 571-Sparkly Snow Bunnies

Hello everyone! Amy Rysavy here is our host for week's Color Throwdown challenge! I'm ALLLL about the Christmas card-making right now and these ornaments and colors I thought would make for some really fun cards! The colours for this week are to use pink, greenturquoise and silverRemember we just use generic colors (so any brand/type/whatever you have will work) and you can always feel free to add in neutrals (white/black/etc) to make your creation pop!

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD571, and please use #CTD571 and #colorthrowdown on social media so we can find your gorgeous creations!  When linking up your creation using the linky tool below, please be sure to link your specific post, not a general link to your blog.  All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, and you can always check there to be sure!

One last detail to remember, no digital designs.  Only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.  Totally digital designs will be removed from the link up.

I am obsessed with the silver glitter frame I added to this card. It's such a fun accent. I cut it from the Stitched Notes and Frames Cover Panel.

I layered that over the Snowballs Cover Panel cut with Premium Polar White cardstock. The adorable bunnies are from the Snow Bunnies stamp set. I used the challenge colors in my Copic markers to color the bunnies. I added a few of the clouds and cut out all the bits with the Snow Bunnies Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the sentiment on a skinny strip of Polar White card stock in Midnight ink. I love how this card came together. It was a nice break from all the Thanksgiving prep I have been knee deep in all week. Did I mention the glitter? gaaahhh! It makes me happy.

Reverse Confetti/ Thankful/ Shopping Code

We are coming up on to the Thanksgiving Holiday in the US. It's a time for reflection and a time to be grateful and thankful for all the blessings in our lives. The stamping community and Reverse Confetti are certainly a blessing to me.

I colored up the sweet little huggable critters from Huggable with my copic markers and then cut them out with the Huggable Confetti Cuts

After I cut out the critters and sweet little hearts, I set them aside and did a little ink blending for my background. I used Stone and Piggy Bank inks with my Life changing Blender Brushes.

\

I used a strip of Purple tape to mask off the top and bottom of my panel. I gave it a splattering of white paint and then used Coral ink and Piggy Bank ink to create an ombre sentiment from the Huggable stamp set.

There is an amazing SALE running NOW in the RC Store.
We are thankful for our Fetti Fans.

As you can see, those stripes totally spoke to me. I pulled out the Big Stripes Cover Panel and cut it from some Polar White Cardstock. I added it to the top of a Midnight top folding A2 card.
