MFT Color and Sketch Challenge {warmest winter wishes}

I'm still enjoying a little "just for me" stamping. I especially like that I was able to re-connect with an old stamping buddy. I love Facebook! Eva Dobilas sent me a quick message on Saturday and we were able to chat a bit. We both use to do design work together for Unity Stamp Co and for MFT.  After a quick chat about the MFT Pure Innocence stamps, we both decided we should ink one up. Mine have gone un-loved for too long. 

What better way to use a Pure Innocence stamp than with the MFT Challenges. I combined the color and sketch challenge. While flipping through my  PI stamp sets, I actually settled on one of the sweet PI snowman, Holiday Hugs.  I colored him up with Copics and cut him out. I added some "real" snow details with some touches of glitter. 

Blueprints are a great way to make a lot of the elements of from the sketch come together quickly. I started with Blueprints 14. I love the stitching details on the large square piece and I loooove the new Blueberry color. I used the rounded panel and cut out a Wild Wisteria layer. I then ran that through my Vagabond with the Swiss Dots cover plate.  The sentiment was stamped onto a stitched banner piece from Blueprints 2 in Blueberry cs. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder to make it pop against the darker cs. I also couldn't resist my favorite snowflakes, from Let it Snow.  I topped it with a sweet buttony bow. Always the perfect embellie!

Crafty Friends

Happy Friday, friends. I have a card featuring one of the newest Pure Innocence stamps. She's one I'm sure you will all adore. The stamp set is called Crafty Friends. 

The layout is from this week's Sketch Challenge #446 on Splitcoast. I loved the wonky panels and the simple design. It sure lends it self to many interpretations. I used some Walnut Grove papers for the background. The panels were quickly cut with the help of my Square Stax Die-namics. 

I stamped the PI onto  x-press blending cs and then colored her with copics. I pieced her shirt with some polka dot paper from the same paper pack. Thankfully I had just enough of a scrap left for her shirt and the sweet little heart. 

The heart was mounted on a Pink Lemonade tag from one of Laina Lamb's Accent it-flags and tags set. I stamped the sentiment in Berrylicious ink and ran a quick stitch around the edge of my Kraft layer.

MFT WSC127-a Reel Expert

It's another exciting week with My Favorite Things Wed. Sketch Club. I love WSC  during Teaser Time, because I get to use more new product. 

 Did you know that the sneak peeks for the June Release have begun?? Scroll down to see what new products I used on today's Teaser Post. For now, you get to see another new stamp set. This one is called PI-Gone Fishing. She's the newest in the Pure Innocence family of stamps. 

I used Circle Stax 2 Die-namics to cut my circles. One from x-press it Blending cs and the larger one in Gumdrop Green cs. I then stamped her with Momento Black ink and colored her up with copics.  

Here are the markers I used:

The fishie stamp is separate, so you can add as many fish to her pond as you'd like. I stamped two under the dock, nibbling at her feet. Then added another one to the fishing line. A bit of stickles glitter make them shine. 

A few other new product to point out are those fun dots. It's a new Die-namics called Peek-a-boo Dots. So fun and a great way to add texture to your card. I also used some pieces from the newest Blueprints 4 Die-namics to accent this card. That giant paper button, was cut from Steel Blue cs and the scalloped border is also included in this month's Blueprints 4 set.  I used it in place of the flower element from the sketch. 

I used the flag from Blueprints 2 Die-namics to stamp my sentiment in Gumdrop Green ink.

MFTWSC124-Hay There

Happy Hump Day! it's Wednesday, that mid-point of the week and the day that seems to make the rest of the week F.L.Y. by.....why is that? I am always thankful to have this day to share a card. It's time for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. If you love layers and wonky panels....this one is for you :)

I used all MFT product here today. MFT Cardstock colors are: Kraft, Pink Lemonade, Sno Cone, Steel Blue, and smooth white. I made my own designer paper by stamping the chicken wire stamp from Distressed Backgrounds with Pink Lemonade ink on the same colored card stock. 

The stamp is the newest PI-Farmer Girl. She's darling in her overalls.

 I colored her up with these Copics.

I stamped her and a few of her friends with Momento Tuxedo Black ink onto x-press it card stock. I then cut them out and added them to the top of my card. That's a hand stamped woodgrain background from Western Backgrounds.  I wrapped that panel up with some Hemp Twine finished off with a Cotton Candy Button. 

I used a few Die-namics to pull this sketch off-fishtail Flag Stax, Insert-it 3x4 Insert, Chicken Wire, Open Scallop Doily, and the sentiment was stamped onto a Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics. 

I quickly stamped up the inside with more farm friends from Farmer Girl and woodgrain. I couldn't decide which sentiment to use from this set, so I added the second one to the inside.
