Color Throwdown 412- Friend

Hi, everyone! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge! Barbara is our hostess with your colors for this week. Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: medium blue, grassy green, coral, and hot pink, you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well. If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD412, and please use #ctd412 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites.

Here is my card for this challenge. I love the this Leaves Cover Panel. I cut it with the gorgeous Iced Aqua card stock and layered on a top folding Cloud White card base. I used the Circles 'n Scallops to add a larger solid circle for a place to stamp my sentiment from Labeled.

I hope you don't mind. I just can't seem to stop using this stamp set. This week I stamped a pretty flower from Blooms 'n Buds and some leaves from the same set. I used the matching Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts to cut them out. I stamped those leaves in the great new Lime Green Premium Dye ink

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! And don't forget to join us over on the CTD Blog. We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.

I kept this one  super simple and used more of the September Release products from Reverse Confetti. The Wheat Confetti Cut is so cooland I had it take enter stage here, today. I used the Lotsa Dots Stencil in the background with some Kraft ink.

I cut out a scallop frame with the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cut and added the "hello" die cut word from Fancy Word Confetti Cuts in Lime Green card stock

Color Throwdown 411-Beautiful Day

Hello! it's Wednesday, and that means it is time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge. Gorgeous, right colors to work with this week.  They are generic colors and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD410 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd410 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

I had a pretty background all completed for this challenge. I did some ink blending with the Lotsa Dots stencil. It's pretty and  I'll be using it in the future, but I decided to shift gears and inked up these gorgeous leaves from Blooms 'n Buds. Gah! I love them. I used the matching Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts to cut them out. The purple is the new Grape Soda ink and the orange is the new Tangerine ink. The red and yellow are from my stash.

I'm also linking this to the CASology Challenge, which was the word FRAME for the cue card. I picked the new Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts. Sentiment is from Rose Garden

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! And don't forget to join us over on the CTD Blog. We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.
