Crazy 4 Challenges- Thanks

It's Saturday and I am back with the Crazy 4 Challenges crew and another great challenge for you.
Oh my! I have had a lot of fun creating with these ladies the past four Saturdays. There have been some fun and inspiring challenges. Thanks Tammy for inviting me and the rest of the gang for having me!
This week might just be my favorite....make a word die the focal point of your card. Ummmm, Yes!!! I LOVE to do this all the time and my card today uses only three dies and some pretty papers, that's it! Easy peasy and super fast to re-create. I have to say, I was inspired by MFT's Butterfly card kit release this week and a card I saw on IG one of their designers made. I pulled out the beautiful Butterfly Dreams Confetti Cuts and used the medium sized die to cut out a trio of butterflies from the True Love 6x6 paper.

I topped each one with a die cut "thanks" from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts in Flamingo card stock and then used the Woodgrain Confetti Cut in the back ground cut in Stone card stock

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

Thank-you Beary Much

I am bulking up my stash of thank-you cards. I have a lot of them to send out with birthdays, help with moving, and a few for some sweet neighbors. I inked up the darling koala bear from the Reverse Confetti set, Bear Hugs. I used the matching Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts to cut it out after coloring it up with my Copics. The past week or so,  I have loved stamping backgrounds with the sentiments from the stamp sets I am using. I love this scripty one I created today, and I framed it up with the cross hatch frame from All Framed Up with the True Love paper.  I tied it up with some solid strawberry twine

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great start to your weekend tomorrow. It's Friday!!

Lil' Inker Design Feb.Release-Day 3

It is the third day and final day of the LID release. I hope you have enjoyed each day as we shared our projects with you. There is still so much more to see today from the Lil' Inker Designs Feb. Release!! You'll also see one of my cards does double duty as my Color Throwdown card for this week. So if you came here looking for that, you are in the right place.

All new products are available NOW, but you'll want to hop along with us.  I know you are going to love it. There is a chance to WIN the full release to one lucky LID fan. Leave comments at the DT blogs for a chance to win.

Be sure to start back at the LID Blog for all the release details and lots of pretty eye candy. Woohoo!!

I can't decide what to talk about first.....the adorable kitty set or the amazing background. Ok. Let's start with the Color Block die. It is so easy to work with and makes quick and easy backgrounds. I used this week's Color Throwdown colors and used a few of the sentiments from the Cat Treats stamp set. I used the new Celebrate Word die along the bottom to anchor my image.

Here is a closer look at the detail of Cat Treat birthday kitty I colored up. I used the Cat Treat Die to cut it out, easy peasy.

Here is my second card for today. I just LOVE this Bunny Buddy stamp & die set. It has two awesome images, so fun to color and LOTS of great sentiments. I colored this guy up with Copics and then used the Bunny Buddy dies to cut it out. I repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments in the background. See it, inside the oval? I used some Tribal Chic papers and then the Dual Dotted Oval to create the window for my bunny.

I used one more sentiment and embossed it with white ink onto some dark grey card stock. I finished it off with a strip of silver glitter paper. Every birthday needs some sparkle! This is a great way to add it in, even on a more boy-ish card.

Be sure to stop by my fellow DT members' blogs. There is amazing projects to see.....AND you get a chance to win with each comment.

Hello and welcome to the first day of the Lil' Inker Designs February release. We have three exciting days planned to share all the new beautiful stamps and dies. Spring is in the air and you will love it.

All new products are available NOW, but you'll want to hop along with us.  I know you are going to love it. There is a chance to WIN the full release to one lucky LID fan. Leave comments at the DT blogs for a chance to win.

I was over the moon excited to see Laura add this stamp set, Rustic Spring. You all loved the Rustic Christmas set and we know how much you will love this Rustic Spring set. The bunny is adorable and I masked him off with and stamped some flowers behind him. There are Rustic Spring dies that coordinate with the stamps and I love that. It gives you lots of options for creating. I framed it up with the Insta Camera die

Now I know you can't stop looking at the gorgeous background. Yep, it's a new release product and it's the coolest cover plate called, Quilted Stitched So Sunny die. I also added one of the new word dies from the Brushed Script Spring Word dies. You know I love my word dies. Here is a close up of the details of my card.

Here is a list of everyone participating in today's hop:

Crazy 4 Challenges-Super Day

I hope you are having a great weekend so far. It's Saturday and I am back with the Crazy 4 Challenges crew and another great challenge for you. It's sketch week, and Tammy has created a great layout to work with. I used some Lil' Inker Designs products today. This little super hero is too cute! He is from the Super Kids Stamp set, it is one of my favorites.

I used the cool graphic clouds from Cut it Out Clouds & Accessories. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of black card stock, white embossed it and then snipped the little flag at the end. Here is a closer look. I finished it all off on a vellum rectangle cut with the Silly Stitched Die set

Here is the sketch.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!
