Happy Release Night! What a great week it has been. There is so much BRAND SPANKIN' New stuff in the MFT Boutique. You can SHOP now!!! BUT...make sure you come back and do the hop! There is a HUGE prize up for grabs....a $50 MFT VOUCHER. It's secretly hidden on one of the DT members blogs. All you have to do is leave comments along the way for a chance to win.
It's also time for our New Product Tour and tonight I'm showing off the new AIR PLANE GREETINGS STAMP SET AND DIE-NAMICS.
I've used a ton of different Die-namics, new and older and I just love how you can mix and match so many different Die-namics to create just the look you want! I'm pretty excited about my project for tonight, and my middle guy is too.
I had just enough of the Echo Park Little Boys paper left in my stash, and I MFT's Sno Cone cardstock was a perfect match to alternate the smaller Banner layer with the airplane print, designer paper. To the top of each Banner Piece, I added a WONKY SCALLOP BORDER from Vintage Blue felt.
I've got a series of pictures that shows each banner piece and all their accents up close. I added one of the oh-so-cute-and-fun Jumbo Cloud Stax Die-anmics to this one. If you look close you can see I embossed it with some jumbo polka dots. There is a sweet orange Star STax Die-namics with this one as well.
The A is probably my favorite Banner piece. Of course it's because I used the very cool new AIRPLANE GREETINGS STAMPS AND DIE-NAMICS. It's giant and soooo, so cool! I used the stamps included in the set to accent the plane and cut out the rounded circle pieces with the CIRCLE STAX 1 & 2 DIE-NAMICS.
Take a look at the stamp set and all the pieces that come with it.
And here is the final banner piece. A few more of the same elements...the Star Stax, Jumbo Cloud STax, and Wonky Scallop border. It's also a great time to point out the pretty red twine I used along with the coordinating Wild Cherry Grosgrain ribbon.
and just because it's fun to give a coordinating card with a gift, I made one to match. It's a long card, measuring 6 x 3.5 inches. I cut one of the JUMBO CLOUD STAX DIE-NAMICS in that gorgeous vintage blue felt.
Here is a close up look at that amazing Plane. Love it...SWOON!!!
I added the sentiment to the fishtail banner piece that is included in the set. Finished it all off with another Star and a button with some twine.
Check out this last photo....YES...it's an MFT copywrite, personalized stamp to finish off the back of your cards.
It's included in the new My Favorite Sentiments set that you can order TONIGHT for a special deal...here's the info:
