Monday.....and just because!

I've got a couple of "just because" cards.  I made these over the last couple of weeks, just because. With all my DT obligations,  I haven't shared them yet, so today you get to see them.

One of my best stampy friends, Kristin, and I FINALLY got some virtual stamping in.  We like to challenge each other from time to time, but really it just gives us an excuse to chat throughout the day on the computer.  I think if we lived near each other (it would be GREAT!) we would be in trouble and not a whole lot of house work would get done. LOL!
We took on the Monday, CAS challenge over at splitcoast the other week. This is what I came up with.  The challenge was to make a clean and simple card with Kraft and bright colors. Normally kraft is easy for me....for this one, not so much. I got hung up on the bright colors. In the end, I love it, but then again....I used my FAVE  MFT stamps and die-namics.....always a great card when you pull out easy to use product. You Move Me is what I used.  Cardstock is fossil and gumdrop and it's all tied up with lilac twine!

Next is a card I had every intention of sharing during our release party last Tuesday. I popped in to say "hi" and then that was it.  Hubby got home from work early and it was Fantasy Football draft night, and well....that was it for my computer time.  So here it is....Spa Day PI with the Sept. ASFYTT.
Lots of new MFT product on this one....ticket tab, rolled mum (I curled the edges and love how it came out. quick and easy with a bone folder), and butter cream twine.....swoon! loovin' the new colors.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow....it's a two post Tuesday!
