Color Throwdown 414-Birthday Balloons

Amy Rohl is our hostess for this week and I am in love with the inspiration photo and colors she picked to work with this week. The colors from this week's inspiration photo are Grey, Teal, and lime green.  The colors are generic and it's fine if you want to add in other neutrals.

Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool at the bottom of the post.  And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD414 if you upload your project to an online gallery. You can use the keywords #ctd414 and #colorthrowdown if you upload to any social media sites (yes, we're on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!).  All of the challenge "rules" are in the right sidebar in case you have any questions.

Yesterday was my hubby's birthday. I used this week's colors and a handful of Lil' Inker Designs products to make this festive birthday card. I started with the Quilted Stitched Spirals cover plate in the Reverse Confetti Stone card stock. I love the movement this die creates. I then stamped some Birthday Balloon Greetings in the challenge colors (I used the new Lime Green, RC Aqua, and Iced Aqua ink from Reverse Confetti) and cut them out with the matching Birthday Balloon Greetings Die

I tied it all together with the gorgeous RC Aqua card stock and the fun Happy Birthday Border die from LID and some Charcoal Striped Twine

For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! And don't forget to join us over on the CTD Blog. We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.
