Mojo Monday on Friday {You're Swell}

I did it! Finally. I have been making cards for 11+ years and this is my very first shaker card. Crazy, isn't it?? This has always been on my crafty to-do list, but I always put it off. I have even had these easy to use foam circles in my stash for over a year now. I bought them last year during SAB with Stampin' Up! These pretty sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were my final PUSH to just do it!

I went shopping in my stash and decided on my very first Reverse Confetti stamp set, Happy Harbor. Love that the nautical theme is still trending. I guess it is a classic style, so I really don't see it ever going away.

I used an ocean like color palette on my card today-sno cone and Nightshift from MFT along with Ocean Tide from PTI. Grout Gray is there as my neutral. I love this color. It wasn't the gray I was hoping for when MFT released it, but man is it awesome. I have been using it a lot!

Here is a close up of my shaker element. I used the Stitched Mats-circle dies from Lil' Inkers and added a few fun stamps from Happy Harbor in my "port hole".

The So Stripey set was the perfect companion to this nautical card and for that long skinny panel. I stamped the diagonals in Steel Grey on to a sno cone panel. One more accent was the anchor stamped in Silver Encore ink and then cut out. I added some twine and attached it to my port hole with some glue dots.

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch for my card. It's long and skinny and I love it. My card measures 3.75 x 5.5, so it still fits in an A2 envelope.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great Friday!
