Retro Sketch no.100 {Reverse Confetti helps celebrate!}
I told you I'd be back! Two posts in one day....it's been awhile since I have made that happen. There is good reason. Reverse Confetti is this week's sponsor over at Retro Sketch Challenge Blog! It's the 100th sketch and I love it. If you have been around my blog for some time now, then you know I am a big fan of the the Retro Sketches.
I couldn't pass up this opportunity to make a sample. I used the sweet Quirky Cutie: Freida Fox for my card today.
I just stamped the top portion of her, just enough to fit in that Polaroid frame. I hadn't used my Distress markers to color her up yet, so I made sure to do that on this card. I love how she turned out. Be sure to use a waterproof ink when coloring with these makers and an aqua painter.
I used some soft, subtle colors all around her. The hearts were cut from the small die included in the Love Note Confetti cut set. I added some tone-on-tone polka dots thanks to Whole Lotta Dots. In the background You'll see I used the fabulous woodgrain from Forever Fall. Ahhhhhh, it had been too long since I stamped that great pattern.
Here is the sketch:
This is so darling! Love how soft the background and accents are. Those polaroid frames are on my wish list, love all the sizes!
