No stamping for me, here's a Scrapbook page for you!

We survived day 1 of the garage sale. I was expecting a bigger turnout, but I'm sure the weather had something to do with it. It was cool and rainy, so I'm sure it kept people away. We did unload some stuff, especially the bigger baby items which were taking up soooo much space. If we do at least the same tomorrow then this whole process will have been worth it.
Needless to say, there has been no stamping for me all week. I did get to finally add the buttons to this page today, but that is about all the creative juice I could muster. I've had this page almost completed for two weeks now, but I just got my neutral pack of buttons in an order last week. I cased this page/layout from May Stampin' Success magazine so it was a super quick one for me. The changes I made were subtle, and unless you really study the picture in the magazine you could never tell. The base is 12x12 textured choc. chip cs, layered with a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 bravo burgundy, then topped off with strips of sky and Kraft cs. The olive strip is a piece of Old Olive twill ribbon attached with two pewter brads. I tied two pieces of double stitched sky ribbon (the stitching is pulled out). I added the photo corner punches to the corners, and the buttons to the center to help add interest. The title is done with chipboard (now on sale this month!). Have a good one!
Hugs.
