Hello and happy Wednesday! It's time for another great color challenge with The Color Throwdown.
Vickie is our hostess this week and the inspiration photo is so warm and cozy. I love that rich deep red. Add in some gray and white and you'll be all set to join us this week. I can't wait to see what you create.
I pulled out one of my favorite Taylored Expressions stamps sets, Under the Toadstool. I just adore that gnome. I also colored up some mushrooms and stamped a magical starry background with grout gray ink on a smooth white background. I anchored the image with some designer paper and a solid stone twine bow.
I stamped the sentiment with some Paver Red ink onto a gray Speech Bubble die from Lil' Inker Designs. I love that stitched border along the edge. I popped that panel up with some foam dimensionals.
Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD380 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd380 and#colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented February Guest Designer, Kay Miller!
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great one!
