I couldn't resist adding a few extra embellies. So I cut two flowers from the FLOWER MEDELY DIE-NAMICS set and topped it with a Sweet Tooth Button. Since I was feeling groovy and it fit the theme, I also cut a small Peace Sign from Jellybean Green CS.
The sentiment was stamped with the new Black Licorice Ink onto a tab from ACCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS. I stitched it on to the bottom of my card as I went around my edge with the sewing machine.
I also thought I'd point out one more way I've been adding dimension to my cards lately. After I stitch my pattern paper to a cardstock layer, I go ahead and roll up the edges a bit. I carefully (as not to get a paper cut....yes, I'm speaking from experience) run my finger along the edge of my paper, right up to my stitch line. You can see it and the other dimension on this card in this picture.
You’ll want to be sure to play along for your chance at the weekly prize, valued at up to $20 in vouchers to the MFT Boutique.
