So a Die-namics feature post this is. I used sooo many of the new Die-namics releasing tonight, that I think you're going to like it.  I'd like to say I got carried away, but no way....I ♥ my Die-namics and can't make something without them. Plus, they save me time and always add cute accents and embellies to my project.

I've got a Project Life layout to share today. Here is it. I will talk about all the elements as I show the close ups of each of the pockets.

I found a good way to photograph my layouts without getting the glare from the plastic. What is it, you ask??? Take them out of the sleeves!!
yep, I lay my page protector on the floor, and then pull out each of the inserts I made and lay them right on top, right where they belong.

I photograph from above and then edit it Photoshop Elements. Have you noticed a change in the quality of my photos?? I sure hope so. I got a nice new camera and finally bought PSE and I am soooo happy with the results.  I still have lots to learn, but I am having fun doing that. :)

So let's jump right in......and, On to the projects...a few things before I jump into the Die-namics I used to pull this together. I chose three colors of MFT card stock to work with, ones that coordinated with the Studio Calico -Darling Deer papers. I lucked out and most of the photos had a pretty shade of olive-ish green in them.  I picked out MFT Sour Apple, Kraft, and Steel Grey.

I also used all three of the new MFT Premium Dye inks throughout my layout. If you haven't tried the inks yet, be sure to pop one, two, or MORE into your cart tonight. You'll love them.

All my pictures were taken with my iPhone and the Instagram app. Love that thing.

So for my boys insert. I kept it simple. I stamped the word with the Typewriter Alphabet stamp set and added some zig zag stiching in Kraft. Did I fool you?? It's a stamp, not actual sewing and I am really liking it. It is from the new Lisa Johnson line, HEARTS AND STITCHES BACKGROUNDS.  I also added a sweet boy die cut from BOY MEETS GIRL Die-namics. Then if you look closely, you'll see I added the row of arrows from LOLLIPOP ADDITIONS-LOVE STAMP SET in Sno Cone ink

Next is my title insert. I cut a 4x6 panel of Steel Grey cs and matted it with some Kraft cs, then added those same stitches with the HEARTS AND STITCHES  background. The sentiment stamped in Black Licorice ink is from DOCUMENT IT-OFF THE CHART, and a cute row of PAPERDOLL BOY DIE-NAMICS was a fun accent to add. I added all three RUSTIC HEARTS DIE-NAMICS stamped in the pretty new inks and the coordinating HOMESPUN HEARTS STAMP SET.

as is the "I'm Crazy about you" . The whole insert was created with the INSERT IT DIE-NAMICS and some Sour Apple cs. I topped a sweet little heart from HEART STAX DIE-NAMICS to break up a bit of my journaling. The small row of hearts is from the Lollipop Additions-Love set.  I also love that I can now quickly make a lined journal box with the JOURNAL IT-FOR THE RECORD stamp set. I stamped the lines in Sno Cone ink.

The next two pockets  go together. I actually cut my photo at a point that wouldn't interfere with what was going on in the picture. I stamped  of those Lollipop Addition-Love arrows and then added a fun label marker from ACCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS

I was super excited to finally put the ACCENT IT-PIE CHART DIE-NAMICS to good use. It is such a cute, cute idea and there are so many ways you can use it. I used the coordinating stamp set, DOCUMENT IT-OFF THE CHARTS to fill in all the little pie pieces and for my title.  Which then led me to add one of the gorgeous new keys from LOCKS AND KEYS DIE-NAMICS.

This one of my favorite pictures of the boys from this summer. I used the new COUPON BOOK-LOVE stamp set.  I needed a larger font to fill the space and this was perfect. The word, "this" comes from the OFF THE CHARTS stamp set. I added a few more accents from the ACCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS DIE-NAMICS.

I'll wrap up this layout with the ice cream date insert. I used more words from COUPON BOOK-LOVE and added another little tab from the ACCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS DIE-NAMICS. A few other stamp details from Lollipop Additions-Love and a bit of the zig zag stitching from the HEARTS AND STITCHES BACKGROUND stamp set. That teeny tiny heart on the label is actually cut from the HEART DOILY DIE-NAMICS. I had one left over from another project, so I added it here.

Today is my oldest son's birthday. He is  11 today, so it was only appropriate to post his birthday card here. I used many of the same Die-namics to create this graphic and scrappy card.

I stamped the sentiment, from By The Numbers stamp set,  in Black Licorice Ink onto a die from ACCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS. Those cool circles with the points are also from the same Die-namics set. I love these and the squares, included. Instead of adding a fourth circle, I added a boy die from the BOY MEETS GIRL DIE-NAMICS.  I still needed a little something in that space, so I tucked in a little Black Licorice Button and Charcoal Twine.

For a pop of color I added a strip of the Pinking Edge Die-namics. It's one of my favorites, especially for masculine cards.

Now Hop on over to Kim's Blog for the line up of today's Pep Rally Posts!!
