I pulled out this beautiful ledger paper from the Fourteen paper pack by Crate Paper (yeah!!! it's in the MFT Boutique. Thanks Kim....I ♥♥♥ this paper). I stamped the outline image from the COUPON BOOK-LOVE stamp set in Sno Cone ink, the added the giant word LOVE from the same set. I stamped that with the new Black Licorice Ink.
I cut out one of the new HEART DOILY DIE-NAMICS from some left over packing paper I have been saving. I folded the doily in half after I cut it and then added one of the fun flagged, tabs from ACCCENT IT-LABELS AND TABS DIE-NAMICS. I had fun with some sewing.
I also cut a few different sizes of HEART STAX DIE-NAMIC and added those with some foam dots. A sweet Pink Lemonade Button and hemp twine help set the sweet tone of this card.
Along the bottom, you can see more of my collage stamping. This technique works well with lighter ink colors and as you layer your stamps, remember to stamp with your lightest inks first. I am sooo in love with the Kraft and Sno Cone inks.
So, how about a sweet Book of Love?!! I made a few lovey treats for my kiddos earlier this week, so I decided to make this one for my hubby. He's a simple guy, no fuss, no muss, so I did up a Clean & Simple version of a coupon book. I did LOTS of stamping and had fun showing off the new ink colors along with Razzle Berry ink that released last month.
Here's the cover. I added a few extra stamps thanks to the Lollipop Additions-Love and Lovey Dovey Sentiments (I adore that I ♥ YOu sentiment). I did cut two Heart Stax hearts (in Kraft cs) to cover the book holes and then bound the book with some Pink Sorbet Twine.
Here is a full shot of most of the pages from form Coupon Book. On all of them I used Kraft, Sno Cone, and Razzleberry Inks. Check out all of the MFT INKS HERE! I cut all the pages from Sweet Tooth cs with the TICKET BOOK DIE-NAMICS.
Here are the next three pages in my book.
You might have noticed or been wondering about the non-redeemable tickets I included. There are just sooo many great words of LOVE being released this month, that I couldn't help to use some of them here. Instead of all of the pages being a coupon, I did add some beautiful, sentimental words for hubby. I tucked them in here and there between the other coupons.
I created them with the Homespun Hearts stamp set, Lovey Dove Sentiments and You Make My Day (this month's Triple Scoop set). I think the "you're so good for my heart" one is my fave!!
Here's a shot of all the coupon pages. I can't wait to give this to him.
Here is the back cover. I added another, larger HEART STAX and a sweet row of BOY MEETS GIRL PAPERDOLLS.
Here is my InLinkz list with all the other MFT products I used today.
