Color Throwdown 524-Lovely Day

It's a new year and another round of fresh colors to work with from the Color Throwdown Challenge. I am a day late, but I'm okay with that. It's still Winter Break in our house, as my kiddos and I don't go back to work until next week. We are enjoying the time off. It also means I got some crafty time over the past few days and it sure felt good to be back in my studio.

Hi everyone, Amy is our host this week, and  welcome you to the first CTD challenge of 2019! This week's colors are yellow, green, black, and white--and any other neutrals you need to complete your design.

If you upload your creation to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD524, and please use #ctd524 and#colorthrowdown on social media sites.  Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please use a direct link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog.  All of the rules are in the right sidebar, so check them out if you're unsure.  And no digital designs will be allowed - only digital images that are printed off and colored.

I used the gorgeous floral stamp, Ruffled Peony , from Picket Fence Studios and quickly colored it up with my Zig markers and a water color brush. I trimmed off the bottom edge and added some Black & White stripe paper along the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from in Intense Black ink and tucked in some sequins. As a final accent I tied on a black burlap twine bow.

Now here is some great inspiration from the talented design team.  We can't wait to see what you create!

I'd also like to welcome our January Guest Designer,
Vicki Finger
