So My distressing on this card comes from the use of my little distressing tool that comes with the SU cutter kit. I love these little bundled up tools, that distressing was the reason I got the cutter kit. I also added some distressed ink around the edges of some of the panels. Stamps used are Enjoy Life (got it FREE on a Hip Hop Thursday, gotta join the fun for a chance to win some) and the butterfly is from the March KOTM. Everything else is SU!
I also made this one by combining two new sets available in the Occasions Mini, Forest Friends and Matchbox Messages. I made another little baby girl card, I don't know why, I know no one having girls right now. The distressing was done with just ink this time. As cute as that little deer is in Pink Pirouette, the more I look at this card, the more it kind of bugs me. I rarely do this, but I think I need to re-work this card and do the deer up in Chocolate Chip. What do you think? Come play along with the CAS challenges, they really are a great way to start your week stamping!
Hugs, Lisa
I think your second card is cute - it would be very cute in chocolate chip, but it's cute in pink! Great cards!

ReplyDeleteThese are awesome Lisa! BOth layouts are so cue! I don't know about the deer- it is cute as is, but would be cute in chocolate too, maybe with little pink blush on the cheeks or something!? If you DO rework it, be sure to post!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa - cool cards! I also wanted to commend you for repurposing the oatmeal container for your boys' pencils. Great job!
