Hello there! Lynn is our hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #508! She chose some vibrant colors for all of us to create with this week. She found this inspiration photo full of bright colored flowers. I hope you'll like creating with the colors Purple, Green, Yellow and Red for this week's challenge and I hope they inspire you to create something special. We are using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown, you are all set! As always, please feel free to incorporate any neutrals that you need in your design as well!
If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD508, and please use #ctd508 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog. All of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, please check them out if you are in doubt! One last detail to remember, no digital designs - only digital images that are printed off and colored will be allowed.
Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
These bright fun colors were perfect for this cheerful birthday card. The Scooter Balloons set from Lil' Inker Designs is so fun to create with. I stamped the scooter and then used the coordinating Scooter Balloons dies to cut it out. Then I finished off the image by stamping the balloons. I colored it up in the challenge colors with my copic markers.
I added in some sunny yellow with the Brushed Plaid stamp set along the bottom. I also tucked in some green mountain tops with the Stitched Chevron Border die. I finished off the scene with some clouds from the Rainbows and Clouds dies.
