Remember, we're using generic colors, so as long as you use the color values shown: red, yellow, green and blue, you'll be good...the color police won't come after you--this is all about having fun! And, feel free to incorporate any other neutrals you need in your design, as well. If you upload to a public gallery, please use the key words CTD408, and please use#ctd408 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also, when linking up your card using the linky tool at the bottom of the post, please link to your specific post, not a generic link to your blog--all of the "rules" are in the right sidebar, so check 'em out to be sure. Importantly, though, no digital designs--only digital images that are printed off and colored with be allowed. We can't wait to see what you come up with this week.
I played up the chevrons and birthday cake from the inspiration photo and created this festive and fun birthday card. I love how just a handful of products can produce a pretty card. This one uses all Reverse Confetti goodies.
Main image panel is the Documented Confetti Cut and then I added another smaller rounded rectangle element with the Happy Pretty Panel Confetti Cut. I used the solid Class Act Confetti Cut to line the back drop with some Lemon Drop card stock. I completed the greeting a stamp from Whole Lotta Happy. The cake is from Candles 'n Confetti.
For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! And don't forget to join us over on the CTD Blog. We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.

Here is a closer look at the products I used today.
I'll see you back here later with another post. You won't want to miss it.
I like that you were able to use these primary school colors to make a card not school related :)
