Color Throwdown 554-Crabulous Day

This past Wednesday was time for another fabulous color combo for the Color Throwdown Challenge. My card is not so original, but I have been inspired by all my RC teammates and how they have been using the Bubbles Confetti Cut in the background and I just couldn't resist those adorable crabs.

Welcome to Color Throwdown Challenge! Amy is this week's hostess, and I loved her somewhat neutral color combination with you including black, red, green and kraft.

I'm delighted that you're here and hope you'll have a chance to join us this week. We'd love to see your work in the gallery, so please link up below to your blog post, or use keyword CTD554 when posting in public galleries and hashtags #ctd #ctd554 on social media. Finally, please link your specific blog post when using the linky tool below.

I started with some Sand card stock and the Bubbles Confetti Cut then used a Life Changing blending brush to darken up the edges. I also splattered on some white ink and some shimmer paint to add a little extra to the background.

I pulled in the rest of the challenge colors with the adorable Let's Shellabrate stamp set. I used my copics to color the images and then the coordinating Let's ShellaBrate Confetti Cuts to cut out all the pieces. I decided to tuck in a few layers of torn vellum across the middle of the card and tied on a twine bow. The sentiment was stamped in Midnight ink.

Check out the beautiful creations from the team this week! They are sure to inspire you, they always inspire me!! Have fun creating, we cannot wait to see what you come up with using these colors!
