Today I've got two projects showing one of my favorite cover plates, Diagonal Plaid Cover Plate. This one was actually released on on World Card Making Day, and we are excited to highlight it again with the October Release products. My first card, uses the negative pieces from the Diagonal Plaid die. I love how this turned out.
It was the perfect back drop for the new Mitten Shaker Die. I LOVE the details on this die. I didn't create a shaker card with it, but used it to show off the very cool Ready, Set, Snow stamp set. They work so well together. I stamped a snowflake from the set in Mist ink and then added the sentiment over top in black ink.
On my next card, I layered up two of the Diagonal Plaid die in Stone and Premium Polar White card stock. If you flip the pieces they layer together and make a great plaid pattern.
I colored up some of the gorgeous, just released Fall Foliage stamps with my Copic markers and cut them out with the matching Fall Folliage dies. I added a diagonal strip of olive polka dotted paper to the bottom of my card front and added one of all time favorite word dies from LID, Hello word die.
Here is the blog list for today!
