She was beginning to tire of all the red and pink and hearts so she decided to introduce a vibrant summer-inspired color palette for this week: orange, yellow, green, and white. We have had a beautiful Spring teaser here in the Ohio and these colors just make my summer loving heart happy!
Remember we’re using generic colors and you can add whatever other neutrals you choose. It’s all about having fun, right?
If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword CTD383, and please use #ctd383 and #colorthrowdown on social media sites. Also when playing along please be sure to use a direct link to your creation/blog post and not a generic link to your blog. All of the rules are in the right sidebar if you have any questions.
All of the brand new, just release Reverse Confetti stamps and dies are still on my desk, so I put them to use for today's challenge. I used a bunch of Confetti Cut dies and added the stamped "hello" from Whole Lotta Happy to complete my sentiment.
I used the Documented rounded rectangle as a base to ground my Happy Pretty panel (layered with the Class Act die underneath). The flowers are from Flowers For Mom and I used the Double Panel Hearts background die to create a teeny tiny scalloped edge to my Happy Pretty Panel to squeeze in that yellow color from the sketch.
For more inspiration, check out the other design team members' creations below, and get inky! We can't wait to see what you create with these new colors.
