Sweet Sunday Sketch 218 {sending sunshine}

 Hello and happy Sunday. I colored up the sweet Sunflower Sweetheart by MFT for my card with the Sweet Sunday Sketch crew. I used some bigger panels so I could use the full girl image. I do love those smaller tilted panel that the sketch calls for. I just might have to make another card this week.

In the background, you'll see I had added some detail with the chicken wire cover plate.

I stamped the girl in black Archival ink and colored her with my Distress markers. I am signed up for  the online Watercolor class and can't wait to learn a few new tricks and practice my watercoloring.  I stamped the sentiment along the side in Chocolate ink.

I used my Fishtail stax Die-namics for the flags and topped them with another gorgeous Gerbera Daisy.

Here is this week's sketch.

Stop by Karen's Blog for all three challenge details.

Come Play along: simply make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of Karen's post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Be sure to link directly to the blog post or gallery image which features your card. You may post a picture of the sketch on your blog, but please save the image to your computer first. Use the keyword SSSC218 if you plan to post your card in an online gallery.

 Don't forget to see what the Sweet Sunday Sketch team has done this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a fabulous Sunday and a great start to your week.

  6. So pretty! Love how you colored the image. I'm taking the watercolor class, too--it's not one of my strengths, so I'm looking forward to getting more comfortable with it.
