I was able to work on some of my water coloring skills yesterday. I have learned so much in the online card class-watercolor for card makers. I have a lot more practice to do with some of the lessons, but I am so excited about working out of my comfort zone.
This technique was more in my zone, but I still love the results. I clear embossed the gorgeous circle prints from Reverse Confetti's Whole Lotta Dots. Then I went in with my Distress Markers (so far my favorite watercolor medium. I think because I am so familiar with working with markers) adding bits of color to the little spaces. Then I added some water with an aqua painter (water brush).
I used Soft Navy ink by Simon Says Stamp (had to try this ink. LOVE how it stamps, not splotchy at all, after it dries) to stamp the beautiful house image from the Go Together set by RC.
There is a new challenge up for the Catered Crop Recipe Swap. Pull out your favorite House image and create something fun. You can see all the challenge details HERE.
Have a happy Hump Day!
