** there's still time to play along with the Curtain Call Challenge**
See my reminder post HERE.
Woohoo! It's day 3 of the big Birthday Celebration for Reverse Confetti. One more day and then you can get these wonderful stamps and dies in your Hot Little Hands! Today, just might be my favorite day of peeks. Seriously makes me giddy!
First up is the fun travel set called Here We Go. Yep, you guessed it....there are matching Confetti Cut dies. Makes me sooooo happy!
Check out that polka dotted plane! Ack!! soooo cute.
I created a sweet little scene for my plane with the Doin' the Wave die for my grassy hills and added a notebook edge thanks to the Office Edges dies. If you didn't pick those up last month, go ahead and add them to your cart. Shhhhh, I won't tell! I stamped the sentiment onto a fishtail flag from Tag Me and then tucked in a sweet little heart from Love Note.
I have been working with watercolor techniques this week (and the weeks to come). I'm taking the Online Card Class: Watercolors for Cardmakers. You should sign up. It's a lot of fun.
This next card was my first go at the class homework. It was the perfect background from the yummy, sweet set called Let's Chill.
Here is now my card started. I used an acrylic block, a few Distress Markers, and a spritzer to make this gorgeous background.
After I stamped the popsicle with SU's Rich Razzleberry ink, I used the matching Let's Chill Confetti Cuts to cut it out. Look at the stick.....there are three options for this and the woodgrain is just such a fun touch.
I LOVE woodgrain, so I also pulled out my Forever Fall set and stamped the woodgrain background onto some yellow cardstock and then used the smallest heart from Love Note to add another embellie. The finishing touches were a button, twine bow, and a scattering of sequins.
How about a closer look at the NEW products I used today.
Here are few details you'll want to keep in mind this week. It's a Celebration and Jen has some prizes to give away.
- It's Reverse Confetti's 1st birthday!
- Two separate prizes are up for grabs for the blog commenters: the whole release (6 stamp sets and 6 Confetti Cuts!) and a $25 gift certificate. All you have to do is leave a comment on each of the blogs, the more you comment, the better your chances.
- In addition to the blog comment prizes, there is also a Facebook promo for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate.
It's all spelled out on the Reverse Confetti Blog.
Thanks for stopping by today. Come back tomorrow for the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop.
