I used the gorgeous new ORANGE FIZZ PREMIUM DYE INK to sponge on a border to help my white cardstock pop. See that pretty earthy, green layer behind my PI?? That's some of the new FACTORY GREEN CARD STOCK. OMG!!! I looooove this color. yeah!
Along the bottom of my card you can see more of the FACTORY GREEN CS. This time I used one of the fun stitched flag pieces from this month's BLUEPRINTS 2 DIE-NAMICS. Behind that you'll spy one of the new scallop borders in Orange Fizz cs. This is the middle size of the OPEN SIMPLY SCALLOPS TRIO DIE-NAMICS. A yummy FACTORY GREEN BUTTON and Hemp Twine finish this one off.

Since we are talking bikes here. There is also a new fabulous BICYCLE Die-namics . What a great die to have in your stash. YES! you need this one. I made a sweet little circle card to debut it.
I used ALL MFT product....card stock, inks, dies, and stamps. I started with cutting a Sweet Tooth card base with the Circle Stax 1 Die-namics. Fold over some cardstock, slide the die down just a bit so you don't cut the seam and you have a hinged, circle card.
When I make a circle card, I always then cut another circle of the same size as the base and use that to show a complete circle on the card front. It's just a more polished look for me. Here is a quick look at the finished layers. You can see the folded, hinged card base, topped with the complete circle.
Lots of Die-namics were used to create this. I pulled out the Snowdrifts Die-namics and cut some new FACTORY GREEN CS to make some rolling hills. I sponged the edges with the FACTORY GREEN PREMIUM DYE INK for some extra dimension.
I used Hot Fudge Cardstock and and Sno Cone card stock to cut smaller circle to nest on my card base and start building my scene. The BICYCLE DIE-NAMICS was cut from Orange Fizz cs.
I cut a few clouds using the Flat Bottom cloud Die-namics. I used the BLUEPRINTS 2 fishtail flag again, to add my sentiment. I seriously love the embossed stitch lines on these dies. Such a cool and effortless detail. The sentiment is from the PI-I WHEELIE LIKE YOU set and it was stamped in the oh-so-yummy HOT FUDGE PREMIUM DYE INK. I know you are all squeeling with me about this ink! yeah! for dark brown MFT ink!!!
I added a second fishtail banner piece, cut with Fishtail Flag Stax and then I stamped some LAINA LAMB-BORDER IT-MOD BORDERS with FACTORY GREEN INK. A pop of yellow was added with a Lemon Drop Button. This new background stamp set is A-mazing and soooo, so trendy right now. I can't stop using it.

Let me show you. I know a few friends who are big in to cycling. I thought a fun gifty of energizing trail mix would be a fun thing to tuck in their bags for their next adventure.I also think it would be fun for the boys when we do our next bike ride. Now that they are a big bigger, older, and stronger I have plans to do a longer ride on a trail near by. I think I need to make three more of these.
First up is the cool new SCALLOP TREAT BOX. It's so cute and perfect for many uses. You cut out two of the dies and then adhere them together. You can see a demo video of the box on the MFT Blog.
I stamped a few triangles along the top of the box in FACTORY GREEN INK with one of the stamps from MOD BORDER stamp set. I wanted to use more of those cool arrows and the bike, so I needed a layer for my box. I used my favorite Traditional Tags Stax and some SMOOTH WHITE CARDSTOCK and cut out a medium sized tag.
I added the BICYCLE DIE-NAMICS and a FACTORY GREEN BUTTON with some custom colored hemp twine. Yep, I made my own. I simply colored the yummy natural colored twine, MFT carries with my Black Copic marker. Cool, huh?
I couldn't just leave the baggie of trail mix, naked. I had a kraft tag cut from the BLUEPRINTS 2 DIE-NAMICS sitting on my desk, and I added a few more stamps to it, along with a sentiment from PI-I WHEELIE LIKE YOU. It was a perfect fit. I especially love the colored re-enforcer I added to the tag. BEST thing is......it's a die, included with the BLUEPRINTS 2!!
----------------------------------------------------
I have one more project to share. I decided to get a little girly with this one. I have always loved a good pink and orange combo. Don't know why, but I think it is eye catching. I used MFT's orange fizz and cotton candy for this card. The card sketch is one of the new ones you can download from the MFT Blog. It coordinates with the awesome BLUEPRINTS 2 DIE-NAMICS. I am sooo giddy about Blueprints! It makes card making sooooo easy!
I added some MOD BORDERS to the background, stamped, tone on tone with ORANGE FIZZ PREMIUM DYE INK. I alternated direction for added interest. The oval was cut with Hot Fudge cs and those fun stitched border strips were cut with Cotton Candy cs. Here's a closer look at that detail.
My PI- I WHEELIE LIKE YOU was stamped on x-press it cs and colored with copics. This time I made her bike yellow. Why yellow, you ask?? My first bike was a yellow-banana seat bike. I adored it.
Here are all the colors I used.
Like I said, I wanted to go girly with this one. What's more girly than roses?? I pulled out my Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics and cut them with some SMOOTH WHITE CS. Before I rolled them up, I sponged on some pretty ORANGE FIZZ INK. I then tied on a few coordinating MFT buttons-cotton candy and sweet tooth with my favorite twine. Those were added to the left side of the open oval.
Following the Blueprints 2 sketch, I added a Cotton Candy tag and the smallest rolled rose. I then added a few pretty leaves cut from the ROSES AND LEAVES DIE-NAMICS. They were then stamped with the coordinating stamp from SWEET ROSES. . I tucked them behind the rose.
I prettied up the inside of this one. While I still had the new SWEET ROSES stamp set out, I added one to the inside. I stamped the solid image with Pink Lemonade ink and the outline with ORANGE FIZZ INK. One more MOD BORDER arrow strip and the sentiment from the PI set.
