MFTWSC111-{dad birthday}

So happy you are hear today. It's another Wednesday Stamp Club with a fun, and easy sketch. It is birthday month in my family, or should I say Birthday week!!! Today is my dad's birthday and  usually I don't see him on his birthday, but this year I do. My parents are stopping in for an overnight while they make their very first drive down to Florida.  So I surprised him with a cake, card and gift from me and the boys. I used this week's sketch to make his card. 
I've been getting creative with more of the Inspired by line of stamps. Today I chose to work with the Lighthouses from Inspired by Lighthouses. I love having these stamps in my stash. This one worked great for my masculine card. I also used the sentiment from this month's Triple Scoop set (get it for FREE with a qualifying order), Western Sentiments. I stamped in in Sno Cone ink on the Natural Cardstock. 

Here's a closer look at the Circle Stax I used to accent the lighthouse image. I stamped the image with Momento Cocoa ink so I could add some subtle shading with my Copics. 

The Sketch also called for a tab at the top. I added two, one from the Mix & Match Banner Die-namics and then another from my favorite, Accent it-Labels and Tabs set. I used the Typewriter Alphabet stamp set to add the word, Dad in Sno Cone ink. I completed the layered tabs with a Nightshift Blue Button and twine.
